vh1 had a gab fest on the other night about groups who have not made into the Rock& Roll hall of fame and I guess it's as hard to get into as the Baseball HOF. The band or artist has a 25 year waiting list ?? Does this make sense? They had mentioned 2 bands that are not in and might not be asked in Kiss and Rush . Give me acts that should be in guys? |

R and R HOF is a goddamn joke. It's connected with Rolling Stone magazine and it's a way for Jann Werner to push his out of touch views and awful magazine on to people that dont realise how the HOF and RS are buisness partners. Who cares who makes it, I dont even think the Stooges are in. |

It took Black Sabbath, the most influential act in an entire major genre of music, many years to make it, and only after Ozzy Osbourne brought the name back to prominence through an MTV reality show. Off the top of my head, I don't think Alice Cooper has ever been inducted. And anyone familiar with other inducted artists and Alice Cooper's catalog knows that is a crime. The Alice Cooper band is very underated, one of the great rythm sections of all time. Teenage Lament '74 is one of the great songs of all time. |
