Sunshine of your love- Cream

The House of the Rising Sun-Animals

I assume Im not the only one that inexplicably loathes certain Classic rock songs just because they were forced down our throats growing up.

I mean Sunshine of your Love rocks, but the Loop absolutely destroyed it for me.

HotRS is just awful

Summer of '69, Bud Dude jokes aside. That song is pure, utter shit.

Pretty much anything by Pink Floyd that isn't on 'Dark Side of the Moon' (sorry Darkside)

I can't think of a Classic Rock song that DOESN'T piss me off. I still listen once in a while...kind of like smelling your own farts.

"Sunshine of Your Love" was ruined for me by some terrible hair dye commercial for aging boomers. I think it was Just For Men Touch Of Grey, which is sort of like having a boner pill called Light My Fire and then using "Barbara Ann" in the spot. Shame, too, as I love its use in Goodfellas when Jimmy decides he's just gonna Kill Fucking Everybody.

"Runnin' Down a Dream" is the only Tom Petty song I've ever hated. I don't even know why. I just hate it.

OH! "All Right Now" by Free. That's the one that pisses me off.

"Rock and Roll" by Led Zeppelin.

I actually like the song, but it's so overplayed that I cannot listen to it anymore. I think the Loop gives it a spin once every 2-3 hours.

In the group photo along with Running down a Dream as mentioned.

My add would be Like a Rock - Seger, Bob

Are you crazy? That song is perfect. I could listen to it 100 times in a row without getting tired of it. It's everything a rock song should be.

Couldnt you see how the Loop would kill that though

Im sure they've played it in the background of promos immediately before playing the actual song.

Bad....

I don't listen to The Loop, and I'm a big Petty fan, and that riff is undeniable.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that there are like 3 Bob Marley songs I like, and they're not the ones that get a lot of airplay.

I would say anything not sung by Bon Scott in the AC/DC catalog.

Yes, thank you. Fuck AC/DC and all their shitty relief-pitcher-intro songs.
