Diana Ross herself isn't amazing, but "Come See About Me" is. The Afghan Whigs' cover is even better.

I keep meaning to research a lot of the hip hop songs I love and which samples are used.

Cuz many times the soul sample makes the song and the rapper almost just gets in the way.

I probably love a bunch of songs I dont know

Yeah, kind of strange now. Seeing as Mya is a big deal and mother is deceased.

I don't know a lot of the Ripperton catalog. Just didn't get into the whole love song thing. She is quite talented though.

Isn't She Lovely by Stevie Wonder....actually anything off Songs in the Key of Life.

One of the first albums I ever dropped a needle on.
