I do not know if I have told you but my Aunt is in really bad shape. Leukemia and lung cancer that is resisting both the kemo and radiation therapy. She is at bottom of the barrel emotional and strength basically she is coming close to giving up. I however am not done trying to pep her up and give her some positive energy. The hospital will not even let fake flowers in her room so I am sending her a bunch of 8x10 pictures of her favorite flowers. Now here is where I need your guys help. I bought a 2GB MP3 player. I plan on loading it with uplifting positive songs. I need you guys to give me some suggestions. Please. She is a child of the 60s so that will help.

Sorry to hear that chas. I liked the Peanut Butter Conspiracy as a "unknown" if you are looking for that 60s psychadelic pop/rock group.

I'm sorry to hear about your aunt. You mentioned 60's music that might cheer her up and I don't know what kind of 60's music but the Monkees greatest hits might do the trick. Also check out "Paul Revere & The Raiders:Alias Pink Puzz:" which is a favorite of mine. Prayers to your Aunt!

Music is such a personal thing...listening to works from St. Hildegard brings me tranquility: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5PlFFCDhtYc

I don't know anything about music from the 60's but if you like Enigma you might like Lisa Gerrard stuff. It's not good for poking music and isn't as musicy as Enigma but it's okay. She sang the song Now We are Free thats at the end of Gladiator.

This is a good link too. I know a couple on the first page like gregorian and Mythos. http://www.last.fm/music/Enigma/+similar
