Who at the best players on more than one instrument? I know most guitar players can play bass and vice versa but are there any who play them both at a rock god level? Or any 2 instruments at that level? I don't know how difficult his bass or lead guitar lines are but Greg Lake from ELP comes to mind I know McCarntney isn't a lead player but he seems pretty accomplished on guitar as well as bass. Anyone else?

Adrian Belew and Ben Folds are solid drummers.

I knew Folds could drum but Mr Music Head? That's a surprise.

Yeah, Belew started out as a drummer in his teens and quickly moved to guitar. He played drums on a few solo records.

John Paul Jones- Bass and a multitude of different keyboard for Led-Zeppelin.
He also played a little guitar during their acoustic sets on the 1975 and 1977 tours.

you're saying that wilt was proficient on giving it and taking it at the same time?

and i'll go with my guy tom jenkinson, aka squarepusher! he's got EPs worth of one man jazz band stuff (where he uses his trusty old 4/8-track or eventually computer to layer him playing all the instruments into one song) but stuff like tetra-sync is way more fun (btw for me it doesn't really get going out of pre-track-wank-mode til ~2mins)

Question for the ages: Is it more impressive loving 20,000 women or making love to the same women 20,000 times?

What else he play besides keyboards? I just thought of another. I believe Flea was some sort of childhood prodigy on the coronet of all things.

I really want to say, "Fuck Eric Clapton."

Talk about a downer of a solo-career....how many really good songs did he have? Not many. Behind the Sun was his best album, but that's because Phil Fucking Collins helped produce it.
