I feel like every hotel/club in vegas sends me promos for some 'world wide famous DJ" every week and I rarely see actual bands play anymore?

I understand it is probably much easier to set up a DJ v a band and it probably costs less,

but are these guys famous to the point they do shows now everywhere? Like the Allstate arena? the UC? I recognize maybe 1 or 2 names, but it seems like every guy with a funky haircut, baggie jeans and a mixing board has a logo/name and is performing in vegas somewhere.

So, do people pay to go see these guys , just at clubs or actually like House of Blues in chicago

1999 wants its thread back.

Daft Punk live are basically DJ's in robot costumes atop a light-up pyramid. And it's a great show.

there are festivals for EDM (electronic dance music) at Soldier Field. It's kind of a thing.

I know they have this stuff, this is like vegas.

Any of these "DJS" sell out the UC or an Arena alone?

I bet a few of them could sell out the UC, especially if paired together, Tiesto, Avicii...the top guys, if the UC would have them.
But, I don't think that fits with the Circus, Hockey, Basketball, Jay-Z concert thing the UC is known for.

There's this thing called Sensation White that I think started in the Netherlands. Everybody where's white and all these DJs perform and there's a big light show. This shit is huge in Europe. It could sell out Wembley Stadium. There was also a Sensation Black, where, go figure, everyone wears black. I worked with a Hungarian guy who tried to explain it to me. I was puzzled the same way you seem to be.

Seen Tiesto at the Hard Rock, he was there for 6 months.

The whole thing just gets boring after 10 minutes, unless I am taking X I guess. Havent done that in a few days now! Plus I dont have any glow sticks, so I couldnt even go if I wanted to.

I will pay to see that...that would mean Sini would need to commit to actually doing something, which I honestly think he is totally incapable of. I use to think he was a hidden gem, didnt know the calling, but something, but the guy makes no moves at all, 100% talk. "I am gonna, I am gonna, I cant because"

Maybe I will be catalyst that lights a fire under his ass and he no longer wants to be the "indecissive guy"
