Quote: Lollapalooza 2014 takes place August 1-3 at Chicago's Union Park. Arctic Monkeys, Eminem, Skrillex, and Kings of Leon will headline, as previously reported, along with just-announced headliners Outkast and Calvin Harris. The rest of the lineup has also just been revealed. Also performing will be Lorde, Nas, Broken Bells, Spoon, Interpol, Lykke Li, Chance the Rapper, Cut Copy, Chvrches, Phosphorescent, The 1975, Jenny Lewis, Phantogram, Run the Jewels, Gesaffelstein, Duke Dumont, Blood Orange, Darkside, Rich Homie Quan, Jhené Aiko, Parquet Courts, Courtney Barnett, Chromeo, Warpaint, Jagwar Ma, Ratking, The So So Glos, Flosstradamus, and more. big yawn from me wish Blood Orange would play a club date at some point |

I'm aiming for Phosphorescent at Double Door and Courtney Barnett at Schuba's. I'd go to Blood Orange or Chvrches too, but not sure I could swing 3 shows in 3 straight days anymore. Except pitchfork and possibly Riot Fest.  And DB is all confused. Hipsters and Lolla are opposites. |

There is about 8 of these that I would try and go to if the were spread out throughout the year - but not sure how I can swing all 8 of them in 3 nights? They should put all of these bands together in a festival or something. It would make it so much easier. |

Speaking for myself, I wouldn't get past the dress code of a 90's/early 00's NBA jersey or tank top with wayfarers. |

It would make it so much easier. there aren't many i'm interested in...which makes sense seeing as there aren't too many at the actual fest i'm interested in. The good thing about having so many shows it that it should spread the crowds out a bit and Kirkwood, since i'm going to all 3 days of Pitchfork this year I'm definitely wearing a NBA jersey one of the days When in rome.... |

leaning toward going to Parquet Courts on Friday....but Jenny Lewis at Park West is kind of intriguing, as is Spoon at Metro i have a feeling the majority of these aftershows are going to sell out very quickly , there are a lot of artists playing venues that are likely too small for them |

I've had a pretty good track record for these Lolla aftershows though since they started. Priority #1 for me is Blood Orange, going on sale in 2 minutes.... then I think i'm going to grab Parquet Courts....and tomorrow I might grab Jenny Lewis and then decide between the 2 later....i hate buying with the intent of reselling but I'm pretty sure i'll be able to unload the ones i don't want fairly easily |

Cage the Elephant ticket were a success. The Disclosure tickets were too expensive for my tastes but attempted helping a friend get some. The website crashed. Then got in, told me to refresh to get back in line and crashed. Other buddy got Chvrches. Chvrches and CtE is a decent weekend of musica. |

I got all 3 now I gotta decide between Parquet Courts and Jenny Lewis on Friday.. i'll def be able to sell the Parquet Courts though, that sold out instantly |
