the other night i was flipping back and forth between a game and Cops Reloaded on CMT (don't judge me)...when i flipped back at one point Cops was over and some music awards show was on and ZZ Top was playing....

you know how at big events like Super Bowl, etc. when they have a band playing and plant people in the crowd to go crazy...it was weird watching these 20 year old girls going apeshit for ZZ Top when you know they have no fucking clue who they even are

They were probably thinking, "When did these Duck Dynasty guys start a band?!"

Their old shit is SOLID. Once they hit the 80's and pretty much became a collection of mascots in the MTV era, their music equally suffered. Keep that shit...

Saw Billy Gibbons on Daryl Hall's show just last night talking about their MTV era. There aren't words to express how much any male from like 9-17 looked forward to seeing "Legs" on MTV. That said, he was pretty good playing with a bunch of virtuoso studio musicians. He appears to have Bidenesque capped teeth though, so all you see is beard, gleaming white teeth and sunglasses.
