Picked up this album on a friend's recommendation the other day. Very interesting, reminds me of the last Gil Scott-Heron album (I'm New Here). Anyone else familiar with him, the Hype Williams side project, whatever else? He seems to be something of an enigma. I had to chuckle at ganking the beginning of "All My Life" by K-Ci and Jo-Jo wholesale to start the album. Memories of middle school dances. Here's the full album, with the video name set in Indic script for some reason. |
