Tickets are $25 before Ticketbastard. I'll more than likely be going. I know there's a lot of fans on the board here, so it may be an opportunity to meet some of you.

I waited too long on the Congress show, which is a sellout. Fortunately, they're playing in Milwaukee this Friday. I plan on heading to Milwaukee late Friday afternoon for an early dinner at Coquette Cafe and then some drinks at another establishment. Any suggestions from those of you who know the town? I like neighborhood bars, but am not opposed to other types of places.

First show at the Congress.
Any pointers on parking & eats in the area?

Park under the blue line behind the shops on the corner directly across the street. Not really legal or good conditions to park in, but you can and it's free.

Wow. The Shins. This reminds me of how hard Garden State sucked.

It was, indeed, an atrocity.

Are you kidding me with all the crap being released these days, Garden State was actually pretty good. Stinkfinger I wish I paid attention to this thread, I got the step sister and her husband coming in tonight wanting to see live music and I had to settle with the Everclear at the HOB cuz Shins was sold out

I do not force myself into liking sometthing because it is the best of a bad crop. If a movie sucks, it sucks. The overwhelming majority of movie made nowadays are tripe. So instead of settling for sub-par current movies, I throw on The Big Sleep and crack open a bottle of bourbon.

edit: Cue TM.
