This is to cover everything. Chief Keef to muddy Waters.

This starts from another thread talking about the punk scene. I mention Gauge as the best band you never heard of. Plenty I can rattle off.

I loved Explosions In The Sky. Was talking to a customer one day and he told me about RC. He just said yeah it is like Explosions but with way more explosions.

Yeah, EITS are awesome too.
They scored the Mark Wahlberg movie, Lone Survivor.
And Friday Night Lights, too.
Great stuff.

Close enough on Goodman I guess but King Cole wasn't born here. I'll accept it this one time.

If anyone says Billy Corrigan they should be shot and forced to listen to his inaudible singing.

I like one or two hits/catching songs but I honestly (not having a lyric sheet) have no idea what he is saying.

Yeah, that Billy Corrigan guy blows. His singing is so inaudible, you can't even hear it, because it's inaudible.
Billy Corgan, on the other hand, is a god.

Both I guess. Goodman isn't really associated with a Chicago scene I think NY. Really not trying to be nit picky. I kinda always hated the KG was from Chicago. Yeah one year to up his draft status. The above mentioned Corgan was from Florida but he is considered a Chicago music artist. All the blues guys moved here from the south. So yeah I guess where you made your name. Plus I'm just snarky and my opinion means less than zero.

Should the guy listening to silence be shot with a grazing wound, because if it was fatal, he wouldn't be able to hear anything at all, because he'd be dead.

I am not certain people have passed Chicago as being a musical act from there. I grew up around and socialized with John C. Reilly but no legend. You might have to go way back to the Northwestern stable of classic actors like Heston etc.

Well, it's the Tunes section, so your mention of John C. Reilly and Heston had me confused.
But the sentence I highlighted seriously had me scratching my head.
No beef, just confused.
