A band I kinda know is looking to a book a show or two in Chicago in 2015. They were asking me for help in finding the right venue. Anyone got any good suggestions for a 150-200 person venue? The band is sorta hard rock/metalish/punk, so they would want the venue's scene to be similar to that taste. My thoughts were: Beat Kitchen Liars Club Cobra Lounge Hideout I know Schubas is about that size, but they seem to only attract indie shit. Anyone got any other ideas? What's the capacity of Subterranean? |

Later sets maybe 30-40. |

Can't believe I forgot to mention: U2 United Center 6/29/15 Row 12 in Section 311. Don't care, just want to be in the building. Bono just said last week that due to his accident, he might not be able to ever play guitar again, but that shouldn't stop him from singing. Hope the tour begins as planned. |

He made really really good use of duct tape under his stretchy yoga pants and cowboy boots. |
