early on, man, this is like the endgame for family guy humor/culture... lots and lots of references that don't go anywhere beyond "OMFG I KNOW THAT SONG" so i guess it's the endgame for mashup culture too? idk.

tho hey the popcorn part with "let the bodies hit the floor" matching the notes of popcorn is pretty nice, i mean.... shit i'm trying to think of how i'd describe this... i mean it's good solid work getting all the samples looped up with the various beats.... and hey by 7misn in it's getting better so i might actually have to listen to this all the way through. i'll check back later.

Popcorn, the ghostbusters track, and wild wold west are the best ones on here. Dude definitely has his moments tho!

All this mashup stuff works way better when the track bumps.

Good guy. Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny.

I don't think it's quite that facile. I've thought a lot of Neil's stuff is turning the "hey remember the '90s?" trope on its head by saying "I do, and lots of it sucked." On the other hand, stuff like the opening medley weaves a strange sort of beauty out of a bunch of largely garbage songs.

The "Back in Black" lyrics coming in over "1,000 Miles" cracked me up. The best part is probably the Home Improvement segment.

Way too long on each segment. Cut it by a third and make this 20 minutes of entertainment rather than a 30 second high and a two minutes of lets get to the damn next part. I'm only 7 minutes into it though so maybe it will change.

I couldn't take it anymore after about 17 minutes... too much... for my long form I prefer the CVS Bangerz series....

back when i used to keep all my friends alive (read: drive them around) i was once told "normal people sing along with song lyrics, they don't hum basslines" so file this under #ProblemsINeverHad i guess?

(newper cracked the "show up CH" seal cuz i was definitely not gonna do that. just fyi)

first of all, i hate the word tropes. i seriously do.

second of all, man, i remember the last time i noticed someone go all "hey remember the 90s?" and i was kind of like.... what the fuck.

you know those couple'a times i [formally] had a forum with richard i shouldn't have gone out and let him know that front line assembly sampled "start as you mean to go on" for their song "paralyzed" --- i should have informed him about this shit right here. it's downright sacrilegious as far as i'm concerned.
