They fucked up with Ryback the minute they didn't have him join the New Dangerous Alliance (or call it what you want) .... besides instantly making him a monster heel, they also had a way to get rid of Brock when his contract ends other than just forgetting about him .... have him destroyed by Ryback, thus also making WWE happy by burying Brock by his replacement .... but no, that might have been interesting, short term and long term.
