Didn't need it's own thread, but doesn't fit in with WWE, ROH,or TNA news. If this is half as good as the Memphis Heat documentary, it's 5/5 stars. Not a wwe production, this has big time potential.

UPDATE ON CROCKETT FAMILY DOCUMENTARY: THE GOOD OLD DAYS

Our friends at http://www.highspots.com sent word that their documentary on Jim Crockett Promotions and its legacy - "The Good Old Days" - has been completed. The film will be available on DVD starting next week. The DVD is already available for pre-orders.

In what has to be considered a major feather in their cap, Highspots and Director Michael Elliot, who was working on the film when Highspots became involved, were able to get members of the Crockett family, including Jim and Jackie to agree to sit down for interviews, making the film the first time that multiple members of the family have discussed the rise, fall and legacy of the jewel of the Mid-Atlantic wrestling region.

The film will also feature a lot of never before seen footage shot by Virginia videographer George Pantas, who had been given permission by Crockett Promotions to shoot footage at ringside. That material will be featured in the film as well as in bonus material on the 3 DVD set the documentary will be a part of.

The film will have an official premiere screening during the Mid-Atlantic Legends weekend in Charlotte.

Was this the DVD that was on Raw this past Monday, just seen a picture when in Maddox's office, looked like it had JYD, Jake the Snake, and the Million Dollar man if I remember right.

What you saw on Raw was the cover of Legends of Mid-South Wrestling DVD that comes out in September. This new Crockett one isn't produced by WWE, so it should be awesome. Kind of like the independently produced World Class DVD from a few years ago. Much better than the one WWE made that came out around the same time (but the wwe one is pretty good too). I mistakenly put Mid-South in the title rather than Mid-atlantic so it was misleading.
