They need to quickly morph Cole into a face announcer and get a heel in there with him immediately.

Lots of fan love for Cole right now, so it would make sense to take advantage of that. If Heyman weren't busy with a potentially great stoyline, I'd suggest him...

The two best heel announcers they have are aligned in the same storyline.

Are you talking about Punk because I haven't really dug him on commentary the last couple of times he did it.

JBL wasn't bad. Wish Heenan was holding on by a thread. It definately needs to be a) someone that already has a ton of heat and can string more than 4 words together or 2.) someone with announcing experience.

Nobody is really coming to mind right now...

Yeah I mean Punk.

I'm thinking of him when he was on Superstars and NXT with Scott Speedman or whoever that guy is.

JBL would be the only heel announcer I could think of. Miz wasn't awful, but he's active.

I think so. Not sure if he would be a good heel.

I like him on those round table things, though...

He did a lot of color commentary in the mid-'90s. Too screamy, even by wrestling standards where everyone is yelling all the damn time. You don't notice till you stop watching for a few years.

I stopped watching, so how did Michael Cole turn into a heel, other than by just being annoying, which he's been doing since he got there? I know Lawler went from heel to tweener to face just by being around forever and becoming a beloved institution. I never liked him, though, and thought it was pretty neat when Paul Heyman took over Raw commentary in 2001.

Probably screaming into a webcam about the time Vince Russo vetoed a hokey-ass rasslin' gimmick in 1997 and ruined his life.

Lots of fan love for Cole right now, so it would make sense to take advantage of that. Since Heyman is in a potentially great stoyline, they'll probably end it and put him at commentary.

Depending on where they are going with this, that may not be a bad idea. Sure, in our minds we think it's going to be great, but you never know what creative will come up with next...

Running ROH.

Or some might say Ruining ROH.

Chas, Matt Striker is boring on commentary. No one cares about him.

I'd say bring in Nigel McGuiness, but he also suffers from too screamy syndrome.

Actually, that's probably what he's doing right now. This minute. I also remember the Dok Hendrix commentary days. No thank you. Plus, whenever someone gets a reaction, we'd have to drink each time he says "reminds me of the Boys and Birds".

I would really like to see JBL come back to work with Cole. Traditional booth. What's really going to happen? Booker is going to be fired as GM, and will end up on RAW commentary.

Unlike this RAW, I would actually know when the color guy had a grabber. I FF'd through the entire tag match, so I didn't know what was happening. If Scott Steiner was on color, I would watch every second of every show.

If I was put in charge of either Fed my first two Hires would be Stiener and Jay Lethal
