I saw the highlights of the show. They brought all these people back for the night, and barely used them at all. Why not have Austin throw a few stunners at people, or have Hogan drop the leg on someone? Such a waste...

The 24/7 title stuff was great though as usual.

Real good podcast with Hulk Hogan on with Stone Cold.

Crazy to think how the business would have been different if Vince would have went with Hulks idea of him turning heel on Warrior after Mania and going with the black Hollywood Hogan gimmick then.

That's probably 100% bullshit.

Because everything Hogan says is 100% bullshit. Who's going to dispute him? Warrior's corpse?

People forget that Hogan was losing steam as a face leading up to WM7. He only got a slight bump because of Sgt. Slaughter turned into a Iraqi sympathizer.

What is the WWE's obsession with continuing to use Bill Goldberg?

The Saudis oddly love him.

Yeah, but they also asked for Eddie Guerrero on the last card...just sayin.

Something else to say that it's bullshit is documentaries where Hogan says he had to be talked into turning heel. Also, during the Warrior documentary Hogan says he kept telling Vince the Warrior wasn't ready to be the top guy. Definitely made up.

 Only Nash rivals Hogan when it comes to rewriting history and spouting complete bullshit in interviews to make himself look good. Didn't he even try to pretend he wanted to call himself Triple H, Hollywood Hulk Hogan, after this "proposed" turn too?

I highly doubt Hogan said if you are going to do it, let me be the heel to really get him over.

NXT moving to USA; 2 hours live starting September 18 - but there's no war against AEW...

This will be bad I think.

NXT is developmental. Guys get a chance to try stuff out and find their characters and gimmicks. That goes away with it being a product that is expected to generate ratings.

Yep

I'm guessing they're going to absorb EVOLVE and use that as developmental for the really green guys.

If this gets Adam Cole (BAY-BAY) on my tv every week with even less effort, I'm all in.

So...I know I'm a week late, but whatever.

I watched All Out. Yeah, until that roster gets better, don't do another 4 hour PPV.

Some thoughts:

Buy in battle royal: Interesting concept. Not terribly interesting to watch. Awesome Kong can go away. I like Britt Baker.

Private Party vs Dollar Store Hardy's (Angelico and Jack Evans). Fun match. Private Party can work, but they feel like a bit of a Street Profits ripoff without nearly as much personality.

SCU vs Luchasaurus, Jungle Boy, and a Make a Wish kid: Fun match as long as Marko Stunt wasn't in. Stunt reminds me of Spike Dudley in that, he runs around, unbelievably beats people larger than him senseless, then gets destroyed. And eats the pin. SCU is great. Daniels is one of those guys that works better than most half his age.

PAC vs Kenny Omega: I like evil Neville. One of my favorites. Kenny Omega should go back to wrestling blow up dolls. Cornette is right...he's a fucking goof. Stupid facial expressions. Everything is theatrical. Best part of this match was the finish.

Cracker Barrel Hardcore match: Really? Cracker Barrel. At least they could have had Lance Storm as a guest ref or something. This whole thing was stupid. Darby Allen should go jump off a building with his skateboard. Jimmy Havoc should staple his eyelids shut then join him. Joey Janela should give up and follow Blink 182 on a summer tour.

Dark Order vs Billy and Chuck: Wait....that wasn't Billy and Chuck? What's with the hand holding, huggy, kissy video. Whatever. This match was meh. Trent Beretta was the only good thing about this match. Also, what is an Orange Cassidy?

Riho vs Hikaru Shida: fun match. Too bad one of them is being sacrificed to the tranny chick that won the battle royal.

Cody vs Shawn Spears: Stupid entrances. Great storytelling. Fun finish. Disappointing aftermath. I don't get the Cody Star Trek thing...DDP looks like he could still go today. Brandi Rhodes can go away. I am a big fan of MJF. Loved seeing Arn do a run in. Too bad MJF didn't turn on Cody after the match. Kind of ruins his heel persona...

Lucha Dragons vs The Young Schmucks: Wait...not Lucha Dragons? Lucha House Party? No? *Checks notes* Oh, Lucha Brothers...fine. Whatever. I actually like Pentagon Jr and Rey Fenix. They can seem to work. They're fun to watch. They sell like crazy. The idiot Jackson brothers? Not so much. There was a spot where one of them went to jump over the ropes onto something, and it looked like he almost broke his neck. Unfortunately, he got back up.

Jericho vs Hangman Page: Great match. Dead crowd. What I said about Christopher Daniels above applies here, as well. Page's Buckshot Lariat is legit. His Deadeye finish, not so much. Bonus points for Hangman Page naming his horse, "Hunter Horse Helmsley". Right guy won, though...considering new promotion, new TV. Need a champion people actually know.

Commentary: Golden Boy Alex Marvez: fine. JR: Seemed completely disengaged with some of the worst parts of this show. Excalibur: terrible. Needs to go away. No one knows who this guy is...lose the mask.

Production: well done.

The appeal of the Bucks is they made themselves a major act without WWE. They were nowhere in 2012 with their TNA run and they went out and worked everywhere. They became famous by marketing themselves.

I don't know how you could not like them if even strictly as just a story.

Mostly because they're annoying, and don't bring anything good to a match. Quality over quantity.

I disagree with the match stuff.

The outside hustle to go from the lows of Generation Me in TNA to creating the top US indy promotion is a cool story.

Sorry dude...they're spot monkeys. The Hardy's were spot monkeys, but they brought something to the table.

I'm not going to knock the work they've done to get AEW off the ground...can't deny the amount of hustle that's taken.

But I don't want to watch them or Kenny Omega every week. I'll start recording AEW at the start to see Page, Cody, SCU, and the things I do enjoy about the product...but, yeah.

That Raw team is interesting. Dio can learn under Lawler and also reduces Lawler's workload. Guessing Renee gets to host some show on FS1. Of course the SJWs will be pissed that no women or minorities are on the Smackdown show.
