LOL! Balck Terry and blahblahblah once again show us what the wrestling forum is all about. Quite honestly, what does one expect from TNA? I saw the "Early Days of TNA" entry on wrestlecrap.com and found out that they had a tag-team whose gimmick was literally being big giant penises... I mean, midgets in garbage cans are one thing, but the Johnsons? That better get its own chapter on the Stagnance and fall of TNA dvd =D |

Only need a few chapters. The sack of shit that is... Jeff Jarrett 1. Only is comfortable when booked by a modern-style booker. Like a Vince Russo. 2. Who still took his Dad through the ringer, getting financing it. 'Cause frankly, only an idiot would invest in something run by him. 3. And then throws Dad out the shitter. Face it, these guys haven't spoken since 2005 or so. Shit booking 1. Russo, Disco, Ferrera, Borash 2. Didn't use Dutch right, and Cornette doing quality control on the scripts didn't help Shit announcing 1. Mike Tenay? Seriously, this is like having Hub Arkush on the Bears announce team 2. Don West, Taz? One guy is QVC-style hawker, the other is Taz. Nothing against him, but he can't save you when your primary is Tenay. Shit storylines 1. Merits its own bulletpoint, because of booking ideas dropped with no explanation, people winning belts based on what's inside a suitcase ("ooh! we're unpredictable. anything can happen at TNA! And the belt has no worth, either! So why should YOU give a shit about belt changes; we'll have them happen weekly!?!") 2. Hogan, Bischoff, Flair. Little bands of wrestler contingents, trying to invoke the old NWO days at WCW. And boy, that went over well, huh? Shit management 1. Dixie 2. Jeff Jarrett 3. Terry Taylor 4. What else is there to say? Oh, and there's this energy company run by Dixie's dad who are the primary investors. He gets pissed and threatens to withdrawal monies/support frequently. The actual product? When did things go bad? 1.When the X-Division and guys like AJ, Angel, Joe were tossed aside for WWE distaffs. Rhino. Angle. Sting. Nash. Foley. And guess what? They all have extensive injuries and are limited in what they can do. Nothing like building on people who'll be there for the long haul. 2. The six-sided ring is red herring. Its neither good nor bad; in my world, the small squared circle that's used today is far worse than TNAs ring. 3. Florida TV studio. No charm, and it shows. And boy it did WCW a lot of good, too. I'm sorry, who goes to these shows?!? Are these locals, going to Universal Studio so they can root for Jarretts trash, or are they really tourists, walking in to watch a freakshow be filmed right in the middle of an amusement park! What else? Jeff Jarrett. while (1) {"Jeff Jarrett"} |

Are these locals, going to Universal Studio so they can root for Jarretts trash, or are they really tourists, walking in to watch a freakshow be filmed right in the middle of an amusement park! What else? Jeff Jarrett. while (1) {"Jeff Jarrett"} all 100% correct. I don't see how Dixie doesn't get more heat from the wrestling community. I just can't understand how its good business to not pay your talent and vendors, but you re-sign the Hulkster and Bischoff for the mega-bucks. Dixie organizes and markets national fu manchu day in St Louis and tried to set a world record for most people in one location with fu manchus and Dixie is walking around with her fake stache on. This is what she is spending her time and money on? If she wants to have fun and do something, fine, but give Jimmy Wang Yang his freaking $200 first or maybe take care of the VFW's you employ who are on welfare. (yes, redundant, but screw dixie). Throwing boatloads of money at Jenna Morasca, Jeff Hardy (while in jail), Foley, Flair, 3 different people from Jersey Shore and Pac Man Jones and you can't pay Jimmy Wang Yang $200?....and I will continue to whine on behalf of Jimmy Wang Yang or any other Flying Elvi who may be owed $ by Dixie. The more I learn about the Jarrett family, the more I'm thinking they're the most dysfunctional of all time. Oddly, even more so than the Von Erich's. Fritz' family and story was a shame, but not necessarily as shady as Jeff and Jerry. With Jerry being the son of Roy Welch (supposedly) and tons and tons of shady business dealings he's just the ultimate Tennessee Carny Con-man. he gets some credit for some of the Memphis stuff (like Lawler) but absolutely everything touch instantly gets shady. The Memphis Heat dvd outlines most all of this pretty well and with Jeff, like father like son. Some guys go off on JJ, but as long as TNA is around, a lot of guys are tight lipped about JJ and Terry Taylor. Terry Taylor is another guy who the older I get, the more stuff comes out about him. I think he holds some sort of record for most times accused of sexual harassment, one of those guys. -------- Drop In wrote: Beebo wrote: I like Dean Malenko Technically sound, very serious. I like Dean Malenko as well. I could never quite figure out who Beebo reminds me of. IIRC, lived in Texas, saw WCCW when it was awesome and Mid-South, got to live thru the glory years of NWA, lives in NY and follows a Chicago message board....Beebo, are you Tony Schiavone? Wait, I take that back, you've demonstrated intelligent thought, which Schiavone is incapable of . -------- I still almost come to tears every time I see the words: Bob Ryder’s Forehead |
