I know these WWE 24/7 originals have been discussed in other threads. But I got a really nice deal on the DVD's. I took a break, and started watching the one discussing Flair. IF I NEVER SEE, OR HEAR MIKE GRAHAM AGAIN, I'M GOOD. In an industry with inflated egos and lack of self realization, this dude might top them all. He speaks as though Hogan and Flair just barely beat him out for industry domination. He also cuts everyone off. I'm bout' ready to tie him from the rafters they was hangin' from during my match against Harley in 81' baaaaaby.

Anyway, these are spectacular. I picked them up on Amazon for a couple dollars a piece. I went just over $25 on the entire order for free shipping. Well worth the money. Just beware of the aging hipster dolt with the Hawaiian shirt on.

Let this serve as a promo to buy them, and a discussion thread on the episodes. Fucking Mike Graham.

I like those roundtables. PS Hayes always comes across pretty bad too imo. DO you really need to talk about dropping acid on a pg show and glamorize alcoholism the entire time.

Mike Graham invented pretty much everything. Talked WCW into signing Hogan and his idea for Universal Studio in the WCW dvd.

Other things Mike Graham is responsible for:

Not only coming up with the idea of heels using foreign objects in professional wrestling matches, but also introducing the phrase "foreign object" to the English language.

Sold Rob Terry his first supplement.

Wrote several popular songs in the 1960's under the pseudonym Lennon and McCartney

First to use the term "squared circle"

Taught Dusty the phrase "if you will

beat up Haku and the Barbarian at the same time

Post subject:  Re: WWE Legends of Wrestling

It's my understanding he knocked out Haku, Barbarian, and Warlord. Part of the deal to not kill them was he had sex with Barbarian's wife, and Haku had to wash his car for 2 1/2 years. Warlord had to start training Rob Terry, and sell him Graham's supplements.

No problem at all, its just a few clicks. The problem I've had is getting all the copyright b.s. past youtube. I've had about 5 rejected (rightfully so) for copyright infringement. Here's the Andre/Sheik one. Get it while you can. I'll try some other ones and try to figure it out.

Post subject:  Re: WWE Legends of Wrestling

I've got 13 of them up now and counting. I also put up my favorite ppv of all time the 1987 Survivor Series. The first match and the tag teams match were my 2 favorite matches as a kid for the most part (+steamboat v savage, etc). It's the live ppv from the original vhs rather than the Coliseum video version which really sucks on this one in particular. You get Steamboat coming out to Sirius, all the good old stuff.

50 wrestlers + managers and every one of them is better than most current day superstars.

Out of all these names I see, I think Duggan, Honky, Hogan, Jimmy Hart are all still in the business more than the occasional thing (like Demolition, Steamboat, Tito, Hammer).

1. Randy Savage, Jake Roberts, Ricky Steamboat, Brutus Beefcake, and Jim Duggan) (with Miss Elizabeth)
vs.
The Honky Tonk Man, Hercules, Danny Davis, Ron Bass, & Harley Race) (with Bobby Heenan and Jimmy Hart)

2. The Fabulous Moolah, Rockin' Robin, Velvet McIntyre, and the Jumping Bomb Angels (Itsuki Yamazaki and Noriyo Tateno)
vs.
Sensational Sherri, The Glamour Girls (Leilani Kai and Judy Martin) (with Jimmy Hart), Donna Christanello, and Dawn Marie

3. Strike Force (Tito Santana and Rick Martel), The Young Stallions (Paul Roma and Jim Powers), The Fabulous Rougeaus (Jacques and Raymond), The Killer Bees (Jim Brunzell and Brian Blair), and the British Bulldogs (Davey Boy Smith and Dynamite Kid))
vs.
The Hart Foundation (Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart), The Islanders (Haku and Tama), Demolition (Ax and Smash), The Bolsheviks (Nikolai Volkoff and Boris Zhukov), and The New Dream Team (Greg Valentine and Dino Bravo) (with Jimmy Hart, Bobby Heenan, Mr. Fuji, Slick, and Johnny V.

4. Hulk Hogan, Paul Orndorff, Don Muraco, Ken Patera, and Bam Bam Bigelow) (with Oliver Humperdink)
vs.
André the Giant, One Man Gang, King Kong Bundy, Butch Reed, and Rick Rude (with Bobby Heenan and Slick)

Bob, I am loving these Legends of Wrestling shows. So many great stories and lots of stuff I had never heard before.

Stuff like Ric Flair when he first got in the business in the early 70s carried the bags of Dusty Rhodes and Dick Murdock and was a clone of Dusty. He was 300 lbs and wanted to be known as Rambling Ricky Rhodes. Dusty suggested he go with Ric Flair.

Rambling Ricky Rhodes baaaby

I've got about 70 different things uploaded so far, but I'm still working on making the good stuff semi-private so they don't get taken down. The wwe stuff seems to fly under the radar.

I might just try putting up private links here for us, like this:

Nash talking about Sting in the nWo one is priceless.

Nash: "The third guy was originally supposed to be Sting, but he backed out at the last minute."

Someone: "Why?"

Nash: " Because he didn't like making money? i don't know.."

Good god was I hot for Missy back in the day.

 So Missy Hyatt wanted Bret Hart's semen so that she could have a kid with his wrestling genes and her brain. Ummmm Missy I hate to tell you this, but your popularity had nothing to do with your brain, and on top of that you wanted to be the gobbly gooker

some new stuff from last night / today:

Got Heat. If you go to 1:20:00 of this there is a great segment with Bret, HBK, Hebners, Anvil all talking about the screwjob, but this was all 10 years ago. Bret also talks about Sunny days, Shawn's "homosexual relationship" with Vince, etc. Tons of good stuff. Its like the wwe dvd from last year but better since no one was employed by Vince at the time

There are 8 that I can't get up. When they are uploaded, it gets tagged for copyright by the time the video is done being processed. I have no idea why some get thru and some don't. I may be because they're in HD? I'm looking for lower quality versions and I'm going to try those. The 8 I can't get yet are:

6: Greatest Rivalries (1), 9: Monday Night War, 12: WrestleMania, 15: Important Moments, 17: History of Texas Wrestling, 22: Tag Teams, 23: The 1970's, 26: Wrestling Rivalries.

^ Pretty sure Nikita did get his name legally changed like Warrior. Awesome accent.
