Botched injury non-finish. Looked legit, but the streams blow. He nailed it and my stream went to TNA technical difficulties right away.

Ion went for a moonsault to the outside of the ring and Sorenson caught him with his face and get knocked out cold.

All cameras on crowd and JB/Tenay as they stretcher him out.

"
We opened with an issue. They were about three minutes into what was a good athletic match and Ion did a moonsault off the middle rope to the floor and his right knee cracked Sorensen in the head. Sorensen was legitimately knocked out cold and is still on the ground. He's surrounded by medics. There's a good chance Sorensen was supposed to win this match but Ion was ruled the winner. The one thing good is that Ion reacted facially like his character should have as opposed to making it like it was a mistake and breaking character.

They are stalling for time at this point. The crowd is clearly concerned. They sent it to the back for a Bobby Roode interview."

good info on tazz, that explains that.

ROBBIE E VS. SHANNON MOORE FOR THE TV TITLE

Robbie and Robbie T came out and Robbie E challenged anyone from the back to come out and get a title shot, and Moore came out. Decent match. The crowd is pretty dead and if they're dead early, that doesn't bode well for later since Orlando for PPVs has been a bad location the past few months. The finish saw Robbie T punch Moore through the ropes as E kicked out of a rolling reverse cradle sending Moore into him. E then used an implant DDT for the pin.

GAIL KIM VS. TARA FOR THE KNOCKOUTS TITLE

After what appeared to be a legit injury in the opener, we did a worked injury finish. Tara hit a moonsault but then sold her bad right knee. She did a great sell job on the knee. She tried tried the Widow's peak but the knee went out and Kim used a kneebreaker and eat defeat for the clean pin.

MATT MORGAN & CRIMSON VS. SAMOA JOE & MAGNUS FOR THE TAG TITLES

That was my thinking when I started reading your posts. Hasn't changed much.

:P

How dare you! I'm going to make you grow a beard, say bro all the time, accuse you of puppy rape, and proceed to fire you as head of TNA creative.

The link wanted me to download something, so I never started watching it. I'm going to take it easy on Lil' Bisch. Obvious nepotism, but I think the kid really wants to learn.

im just rotating between the first 3 channels and streams are so-so, pop ups will disappear. main is starting now. Sting back in the joker paint to be an enforcer.

I have nothing against Garrett at all yet. Needs a LOT of ring experience obviously, seemed to be out of place a lot, but seems to be able to bump ok. Lacking the "it" factor or something. Looks like every guy you'd see on the street everyday. If I was Eric B and my kid wanted to rassle, hell yeah I'd do everything in my power.

MATT MORGAN & CRIMSON VS. SAMOA JOE & MAGNUS FOR THE TAG TITLES

They put Joe & Magnus over for the titles. I thought the right move at the right time. Basic match. Kind of a struggle really. Crowd not hot for it. This match made you really appreciate that London crowd. Finish saw Crimson go for a spear on Joe, who moved and he nailed Morgan. Joe snap mared Morgan and then Magnus came off the middle rope and pinned Morgan.

Bully Ray did a great bully promo. He talked about how Christy Hemme calls him at 2:30 a.m. but he blows her off. Hemme said that never happened and Ray said no matter how much make-up she wears, she doesn't look good. If she wasn't pissed, she's a better actress than most women in wrestling.

AUSTIN ARIES VS. ALEX SHELLEY FOR THE X TITLE

Very good match. Might have been awesome with a better crowd although this one was chanting "This is awesome" late after Shelley kicked out of the first brainbuster. Shelley did a great job of very subtly selling his neck after doing a head-first tope. He sold,b ut not oversold, for the rest of the match. Aries also did a Death Valley bomb on the apron. Lots of near falls, ending with Aries doing a series of Pride style knees to the head, a brainbuster and got the submission with the last chancery.

Jeff Hardy did a promo. Said his back and neck were hurting but he feels lucky.

A.J. STYLES VS. KAZARIAN

Long match and the crowd was dead. It was really too bad because they worked a good match but whether it was the feud or what, the fans were into almost none of it. The finish saw Styles on the apron jumped to the top rope, but instead of springboarding into the ring on Kazarian, he went backwards and nailed Christopher Daniels, who was at ringside. Styles then did a springboard into the ring, but Kazarian caught him and did the Fade to black, or the Omori driver, and pinned him clean in the middle.

Eric Bischoff did an interview saying Gunner was going to destroy Garett Bischoff next and probably end his career and did the fake acting sad. He had a towel and told Gunner to give it to Hogan so Hogan can throw in the towel for Garett.

GUNNER VS. GARETT BISCHOFF

The story of the match was Gunner working on Garett's neck that was injured from the piledriver on the floor. It went too long and the crowd being dead didn't help. But it was like watching a prelim match with a rookie and a third year guy trying to carry him. The crowd reacted to Hogan coming out, and when Hogan decked Eric after Eric slapped Garett. The finish saw Garrett being beaten down and had the towel and was about to throw in the towel but Garett told him not to. Gunner than used a DDT and pinned him clean.

BOBBY ROODE VS. JEFF HARDY VS. BULLY RAY VS. JAMES STORM FOR THE TNA TITLE WITH STING AS GUEST ENFORCER

Sting is out there with his face paint. Oh god was this just the worst. The crowd only cared about Jeff Hardy. Match was decently well worked until it got ridiculous with one ref bump of Brian Hebner, meaning no ref as Ray gave Hardy a Bubba bomb. So Ray was upset. Hardy gave Ray a twist of fate but no ref. After Hebner revied, Storm gave Roode a superkick but Ray pulled Hebner out of the ring. Storm went for a plancha on Ray, but he moved so he nailed Hebner. Roode went out of the ring to get the title belt. Before he could use it, Sting got in the ring and took the belt away. Roode and Sting went jaw-to-jaw. Roode was calling Sting gutless and dared him to hit him with the belt shot. Sting refused. He shoved and poked Sting, who again wouldn't hit him with the belt. Then he spit in Sting's face, and Sting went for a belt shot and Roode ducked so Sting nailed Hardy. Roode went to pin Hardy. Sting refused to count. But Hardy wasn't getting up. Finally Sting gave up waiting and started counting slow and Hardy never kicked out, so Roode retained the title. It may have sounded good on paper, and maybe builds Roode vs. Sting, but it didn't work at all.

Absolutely stunned that there was a ref bump in the main event.

TNA never uses that gimmick!

4 wrestlers, 1 enforcer...are we overbooked yet? No, well then we need 3 ref bumps (and 2 wrestlers who were knocked out for 5 mins each at the end).

Aries-Shelley was great.

Putting the tag belts on Joe and Magnus was a good move.

Kazarian-AJ was ok.

Robbie E was surprisingly not awful.

Knockouts match was meh.

Ion-Sorrenson may have been good if not for the injury.

Title match was abysmal, as was the Bischoffs feud.

I don't love TNA as much as I appear to......in fact half the time I forget I dvr'd it and end up watching it many days later.

But Bubba's promos have been money for about a year now. I have NEVER enjoyed him more than I do now.

For some reason the Joe/Magnus team is kind of cool.

Aries is a treasure.

I agree with all of these comments.

I agree , I thought the AJ Kazarian match was going to steal the show.
I thought the knockouts match would be better considering that both participants can actually work.
Was not a bad PPV overall

Latest Jesse Sorensen Update - Dixie Carter and TNA haven't issued updates, concern grows

Feb 13, 2012 - 3:15:54 AM

By Wade Keller, PWTorch editor

Dixie Carter hasn't updated her Twitter account with an update on Jesse Sorensen since saying he was taken to the hospital during the PPV for testing on his injured neck.

A lack of updates on a situation like this is ominous, as people within TNA -including Carter via Twitter - would likely be eager to relieve the worries and concerns in the wrestling community over the seriousness of Sorensen's injury.

The only indications PWTorch has received are that there is said to be reason for concern the neck injury could be serious. Fans at ringside watched him get stretchered away after saying his body went numb below his neck.

Sorensen injured his neck during last night's opening match on TNA Against All Odds when Zema Ion leaped off the top rope onto him at ringside. Zema's knee struck Sorensen on the side of his head and Sorensen flopped backward to the floor, landing without bracing himself with his arms flopping onto the ground in an awkward position. He didn't move after landing.

Everyone hopes for good news soon out of TNA through official channels.
