These trainers (Rocky's Apallo's, Clubber's, Drago's...etc...) were some of the worst trainers ever. A lot of time was dedicated to speed and punching, but very little, if any, dedicated to actually blocking or making an attempt to block a punch... |

Gotta think that some of the chicken chasing time could have been devoted to defense. Don't get me wrong, real boxing would make a HUGETM comeback if everyone just stopped blocking punches and had to have their eyelids cut just to get through the next round... |

Rocky IV was good fun. But the movies run time was about 80 minutes.....with about 30 minutes of that being training/memory montages set to rockin' tunes. Funny thing was that many parts of the "Memory" montages of fights, Apollo (No Easy Way Out) were from ROCKY IV....montages with clips from the same fucking movie! Brilliant! |
