WWE has released Tough Enough winner Andy Leavine, reports PWInsider.com. We are hearing from sources that this news is not surprising. Leavine, who was already in WWE's Developmental system prior to winning Tough Enough last year, was sent back to FCW to gain more seasoning. However, it appears he did not catch on and WWE has cut ties with Leavine. |

By James Caldwell, PWTorch assistant editor WWE/Tough Enough trainer Bill DeMott confirmed TE winner Andy Leavine's departure from WWE and addressed Leavine's future in a Twitter post Monday afternoon. "My hope is andy continues to follow his course and get some well needed experience. I like Andy and wish him much success," DeMott said |

Isn't this guy CIJ's pick for the 2013 Rumbel? So Austin Aries tried out for Tough Enough and didn't make the cut, the winner of the show gets cut, the show wasn't renewed for a second season and the only person to make it from the show is Naomi the Funkette? That worked out well. |

Actually I'm all sorts of wrong. It was renewed and Vince pulled it for his network and now there's no network. Naomi was on nxt, Cameron was on TE. |

It still pales in comparison to the Tito Santana incident. I had to ban myself. |

So who the hell is Taker going to fight now at Wrestlemania? This guy was the fucking worst. The other guys gave better promos, were better workers, didn't randomly cry, etc etc. He looked like shit and wrestled even worse. No idea how this guy won. |

The fact that he was already in FCW probably helped. |

Bucky Chris wrote: Bobloblaw, sorry for my laziness... but what's the latest on the WWE Network? this is older news here: viewtopic.php?f=88&t=65316 but what I heard was they basically still haven't hired any of the executives to run the network and can't recruit anyone from any other networks. Working for Vince is the kiss of death I guess. Like Sean Mooney not even putting WWF on his resume bad. They also weren't able to reach any agreements with providers by the dates they were shooting for. I think it was last fall, then jan 1, then wrestlemania, now I haven't heard much about it. The failure of Oprah's network isn't helping things either as far as the idea of brand networks goes. |

http://www.sportsbusinessdaily.com/Journal/Issues/2011/12/05/Leagues-and-Governing-Bodies/WWE.aspx ~200 positions; you know they'd be going after recent grads and pay on the cheap. Plus, honestly, what are they going to run? WCCW, NWA, WWWF episodes all day? I sound like I mock, but... if I have a channel that plays Hogan's Heroes all day, every day, why would you tune in for more than 5 minutes? I suppose it'd be different with Mash; stations used to do 4 shows straight every night for years, running against the 10pm news. |
