I've already heard the stories of him being difficult to do business with everyday. He made a career on not selling anything. I see him go to the ring sucking in his gut like he's on an Internet date, after telling the girl he's "built" like a guy in Magic Mike. In his first TAG TEAM match in the Garden, he was leaning on the top rope, blown up like the kid New Jack almost killed. He makes Rey Rey look like Stone Cold. Overrated. |

You need to look the other side of it. If Mascaras is booked as a monster, who only loses in well-orchestrated angles, then flying up to New York for a few dates, and jobbing to some mid-carder they happen to be pushing that day isn't going to cut it. It'd be like sending the NWA champ, be it Harley Race or Ric Flair, off to Philly so Blue Meanie can destroy them. If anything, the Champ goes to Philly, runs a match where Meanie is enhanced. Meanie either loses or its time limit/DQ. Imagine if someone like Great Kabuki was more giving. (Actually he was used to being undercard talent, so that's something he would do, and Gary Hart had to stop him.) |
