Fantasy Booking Friday presents: The Von Erichs Feud

If you could have, would you have booked a Von Erichs feud among themselves somehow? Good idea, bad idea, would the State of Texas seceeded from the union? Texan civil war? For no reason in particular I was thinking of an old PW Illustrated and they had a fantasy deal where Hawk won the US Title and had to defend vs. Animal. I was thinking after David died, the NWA committee makes a #1 contenders match between Kerry and Kevin to determine who gets the shot at Flair at the Cotton Bowl. Is it a babyface vs babyface match with one of them turning full heel at the end with a chair shot behind the ref's back to win the match? A subtle heel turn with pulled trunks and milk the heel turn for a while? Maybe Fritz gets involved and picks a "favorite" son over the other one and is in their corner? Maybe its a clean finish but one of them turns heel out of jealousy with outside interference during the World Title match vs Flair? Fingerpoke of Doom and Kerry lays down out of respect for older brother Kevin? Maybe its a "if its not broke don't fix it" situation and they never should have a storyline against each other. I'm thinking maybe since Kerry sucked at promos, he's brainwashed by Gary Hart like Andre/Heenan, has a heel manager for his promos and you could have a 12-18 month program, then when Kerry turns back face, it's the greatest babyface turn / reunion of all time. Bret vs Owen worked, Matt vs Jeff had zero chance of ever working. Would the Von Erichs work if done properly?

If it was done, I think it'd have to be a subtle turn with Kevin doing the turn.

We'll go with your scenario of Kevin pulling the tights to beat Kerry. Fritz is pissed and Kevin hates his implicit backing of Kerry over him. Kevin has the match with Flair but loses when he is disqualified for using the tights again.

Kerry tries to smooth things over but Kevin is even more upset and basically does the Owen Hart gimmick against his family.
