Steve Austin Expected to Wrestle Final Match at WM 30
Date Added: August 21, 2012
Story By: Marc Middleton
- Coming out of the SummerSlam weekend events in Los Angeles, word from sources is that Steve Austin will indeed be wrestling one more match with WWE but that match most likely will not take place at WrestleMania 29 in 2013.

Austin's final match isn't expected to happen until WrestleMania 30 in 2014.

The story is that Austin won't come back for anything but a WrestleMania main event. Those familiar with Austin's situation note that he's not physically or mentally ready for the match to take place next year.

Michaels vs Undertaker at Bad Blood in Pittsburgh was one of my favorite matches of all time.

The chair shot to the skull and the camera angle that was used were fucking awesome.

HBK and Taker always put on a good match.

And I am sure Rock vs. Taker will turn into Rock vs. Taker vs. HHH and you know HHH will win since he never puts anyone else over.

I've hated on HHH when he would come out every week in his suit and just talk a while back but the entire fued with Lesnar was good from the start all the way to the match the other night. In the ring he puts on an excellent match and he is very good on the mic.......provided he is HHH the wrestler and not HHH the suit.

I really hope that makes it to YouTube.

It's interesting to note that Ryback is currently on a 25 match winning streak when it comes to WWE TV and pay-per-view matches in 2012. On a related note, World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus is currently on a 14 match winning streak on TV and PPV in 2012. Besides that, nobody else has a streak that comes close.

- Parts of the Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H feud, especially the fallout from SummerSlam, have been done to set up The Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar if needed for WrestleMania 29.

- Vince McMahon, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of WWE, Inc. (WWE), turns 67-years-old Friday.

The WWE head has no intention to ever retire. "This is not a job," he told Bloomberg last year regarding retirement. "I love what I do." He said he hopes there are people who will tell him he's slipping. "It would only be then that I would decide to go to a beach somewhere and sit back and discover that they're right, I am senile. Other than that, I intend to be, as they say, die in the chair. That's the way I would like to go."

There you guys go see the co holder of the tag belts

Just a reminder, Kofi Kingston will be appearing at the Books-a-Million Store this Sunday in the Fox Valley Mall at 195 Fox Valley Center in Aurora, IL, starting at 1:00pm. The appearance is limited to the first 300 fans.

- WWE posted a list of the 25 moments that defined the Attitude Era. Steve Austin "Austin 3:16" speech at the "King of the Ring" in 1996 topped the list, followed by the formation of the original D-X (HBK, Triple H, Rick Rude and Chyna), The Undertaker - Mankind "Hell In A Cell" match at "King of the Ring" in 1998 and the Mike Tyson - Steve Austin confrontation on RAW in 1998. Bret Hart "snapping" on RAW in 1997 rounded out the top 5.

Triple H has been added to WWE's listing for Monday's RAW from the BMO Harris Bank Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Triple H is also advertised for Tuesday's SmackDown tapings from Green Bay, Wisconsin. Advertised for the dark main event is Randy Orton vs. Sheamus vs. Alberto Del Rio.

NXT star Kassius Ohno, the former Chris Hero, tweeted the following after teaming with Antonio Cesaro to take on CM Punk and Seth Rollins in the dark main event of Thursday's NXT tapings:

"Seriously though. Looking across the ring and seeing the NXT Champion & the WWE Champion makes you hungry. Overwhelmingly hungry"

- #1 contender Kaitlyn and Natalya have been going back and forth on Twitter after last night's SmackDown. Here's a bit of their exchange:

Natalya: "Nice commentary @KaitlynWWE ... I'm far from jealous. And yes, my colors are pink and black. Do you know who I am or @BretHart is? #respect"

Kaitlyn: "Uh yes.I know...You seem to mention it every time you get the chance. You're about to find out who I am and who I will become @NatbyNature"

- WWE began a new feud for the Tag Team Title contendership on last night's SmackDown. The Usos, Epico & Primo, Titus O'Neil & Darren Young plus Tyson Kidd & Justin Gabriel all participated in a backstage segment where they thought they should get a title shot. Booker T's assistant Eve Torres gathered win-loss records for each team so we should get a better idea of where they're headed on next week's SmackDown.

Yeah Bay
Wade Barrett was back in action at last night's WWE live event from Cape Girardeau, MO. Barrett cut a promo before the match about he's the toughest fighter to ever step foot in a WWE ring. Barrett went on to squash Curt Hawkins.

Former WWE Champion JBL took a shot at Michael Cole and the WWE Divas after watching last night's SmackDown where Layla defeated Alicia Fox with Kaitlyn on commentary. JBL wrote:

"Just watched girls match on smackdown w @MichaelCole doing commentary with Caitlyn. I need a PBR after that! #shouldnotHavewatchedthatsober"

- WWEDVDNews confirms that WWE's DVD and Blu-ray set on The Attitude Era will have a Best Buy exclusive edition. The set will hit stores on November 20th.

- PWInsider confirms that Rey Mysterio was diagnosed with a pretty severe concussion on Monday. Rey was scheduled for a follow-up exam on Friday but likely won't be cleared to wrestle for at least a few weeks.

Listening to the Law last night, is talk of having a rematch of Lesnar-Triple H.

Author:  chaspoppcap [ Tue Aug 28, 2012 11:26 am ]
Post subject:  Re: WWE till Hell in a Cell

Since SummerSlam, the Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar rematch has been speculated for WWE's Survivor Series and Hell in a Cell pay-per-views.

Now The Wrestling Observer reports that word coming out of RAW was Triple H won't be wrestling again until WrestleMania 29. No word yet if this means Lesnar's WrestleMania opponent will be Triple H or if it means they have nixed the rematch altogether.

WWE originally didn't have a Triple H speech planned for RAW this week. Last night's segment was done because of the crowd reaction they received at SummerSlam. The feeling was that fans didn't take Triple H's "retirement" serious enough at first.

Regarding the earlier report of Randy Orton being removed from live events, it should be noted that he's being replaced so he can leave to film 12 Rounds: Reloaded.

- This isn't confirmed yet but apparently former WWE/ECW talent Nuzio was back on RAW as a referee last night.

- For those wondering, the "Feed Me More" chants for Ryback are not being piped in by WWE. These are what the fans are really chanting. WWE officials are pleased with the reaction to Ryback so far.

- WWE's website speculates that the John Cena vs. CM Punk WWE Title Match will close next month's Night of Champions pay-per-view.

Lex Luger has been announced to appear for Pro Championship Wrestling on Sept. 22 at Addison Park District (located 120 East Oak Street Addison, Illinois 60101). He will take part in an autograph signing.

WWE Diva Cameron, real name Ariane Andrew, was arrested on a charge of Driving Under the Influence.

The Funkette was arrested on Friday at 2:44 AM in Hillsborough County, Florida. She was released on a $500 bond.

Regarding the current push of Damien Sandow, it's said that he's considered to be Triple H's big project right now.

There was a lot of talk backstage at last night's SmackDown tapings that the Jerry Lawler vs. CM Punk angle is a precursor to WWE inducting the late Andy Kaufman into their Hall of Fame next year.

As seen on RAW, WWE is slowly starting to give Ryback more competition after having him defeat Jack Swagger this week. A source reports that WWE has not "pulled the trigger" and advanced the Ryback character yet because they're afraid of messing it up, believe it or not.

It was a move that we used to see every week but rarely see on WWE TV these days. WWE Champion CM Punk reportedly bladed on this week's RAW in the steel cage match against Jerry Lawler. Punk appeared to gig his forehead before returning to the cage a second time and then appeared to hand the blade off to referee Charles Robinson.

At best we can tell, there has been no fallout backstage - meaning Punk has more power than imagined or he successfully argued that he did not blade and that it was a hardway cut. Blading is absolutely prohibited in WWE these days.

WWE superstar Cameron -- a member of the Funkadactyls -- allegedly offered police $10,000 to let her go after she was arrested for DUI last week ... this according to police.

TMZ obtained the arrest report filed by police in Tampa Bay, Florida ... which shows Cameron -- real name Ariane Nicole Andrew -- was arrested at 2:23 AM on Friday morning outside Tampa International Airport.

The report says Cameron blew a .20 ... more than twice the legal limit in Florida.

After cops took her into custody, the report says Cameron offered one of the officers $10,000 to "let her go because she would lose her job."

In the docs, cops say Cameron listed her employer as the WWE.

Cops say Cameron had a male passenger in the car ... who told police the two had been drinking martinis before getting in the car.

Cameron was booked for DUI ... but eventually released.

A rep for WWE ... "Ariane [Cameron] did not alert us to this matter, we are investigating and will take appropriate action."

We noted before that it's believed eventually WWE will have Vince McMahon fire AJ Lee and Booker T from their General Manager jobs before bringing in a top name to run both shows.

There are rumblings now that Ric Flair may be brought in to run both RAW and SmackDown. It's also been rumored that Flair may be brought in to work with Dolph Ziggler in place of Vickie Guerrero.

 I love this place.

When HHH cuts his hair it is good. When Taker cuts his hair it is bad.

No go for Flair in any role. Dolph does not need anyone by his side, he can handle things on his own and needs to be given that shot.

They are wasting an opportunity with Cody Rhodes as well. He has what it takes to be a top tier guy and yet they just like him wallow around in the under card stuff.

I remember people laughing and mocking his fake wig and the trouble he had getting his hood off.
