Is probably the greatest DVD biography that the WWE has put together. I knew this guy's story already for the most part but it's still an awesome watch. Outstanding!!

I was just gonna ask if anyone bought it.

Glad it's good.

Who said anything about me buying it? I took the little guy to Walmart today and hid it in his diaper until we got out the door. #FOTY

WWE Graphic department doesn't know the difference between "past" and "passed" apparently.

Thanks Peeps. I watched the whole thing. Note: Part 7 is on Dailymotion.

I'm torn about The Promo though. While I loved it at the time and still do; and while I also loved the epic match with Cena (one of my favorites ever), I'm confused as to how to judge the promo. It was either one of the following:

1). A talented-yet-unjustly-overlooked disgruntled employee rightfully airing grievances that needed to be stated

or

2). A crybaby who threw a hissy fit in order to get what he wanted

I'm leaning towards the former, but I can definitely understand the argument for the latter.

I don't think he threw a fit to get what he wanted. He said he was leaving. He seemed happy with that.

He shows up and is told by someone that Creative wants him to "shoot". He even says if they want to do an angle about him leaving, fine. But he was still leaving.

It was an awesome DVD.

Yes, I agree it was awesome.

Dude bought Joey Mercury's house for him. That was a cool story.

That was one of my favorite stories.

Also, there were a lot of veiled shots at John Laurinaitis, insinuating that he was the guy responsible for burying the Straight Edge Society.

Straight Edge Society was an outstanding gimmick. That's got to be cool to be able to bring your friends in and work with them all the time.

Although Punk looked like a goof "dancing" backstage at the Rancid concert.

White people....

Daniel Bryan was throwing someone under the bus talking about some guys are backstage hoping they don't get a Superstars match so they can sit back and collect a check.

Hunter came off really good in this as well.

Yeah, I found Bryan's comment interesting. I wondered who he was talking about.

I also liked Hunter's commentary. I'd also like to say that I HATE Michael Hayes.

Why?

I really like him. Maybe that's from seeing him on those Legends roundtables.

He just comes across as a peenus in every interview I see him in.

I picked it up the day it came out, watched the first five minutes till I was interrupted, & haven't been able to get back to it yet. Between a full DVR & general busyness (I once served with...) I just haven't had the time. Hoping to give it a spin tonight.

How long is the doc including the Blu-Ray extras?

Just say it, just say how you really feel about him. I know exactly what you're going to say, so I'll say it for you.

He wore the mullet too long. :D

He really does need a haircut. He's got a Bozo-with-a-relaxer thing going.

Finished watching this last night. Loved it. Not much Steel Domain stuff, Ace said he couldn't find alot of old footage. The bit they showed was from the second location on Lawrence, not the original Domain on Foster. That picture they showed had a bunch of people I didn't recognize, might have been from the Minnesota crew that ran under the Steel Domain banner. I need to go find our old tapes from our Joliet shows. - can't believe that was almost 14 years ago now.

Just picked it up today. Awesome! I liked seeing the old IWA and ROH clips. You can tell Heyman just loves him. I forget who said Hayes looks like Bozo with relaxer, but spot on. I always liked the story of Hall cutting his ponytail off while he slept during the infamous oversees flight years ago.

Watched this today and I echo all the comments here. Great, GREAT piece of work there. Punk is an amazing story. Love the interviews with Daniel Bryan, John Cena. and HHH.

Kid, in regard to your 2 options, I think it has to be #1. The only way it could be #2 IMO is if Punk forced himself in to that spot and forced them to let him have that moment. From all accounts that is not the case. They handed him that moment and he ran with it and cut one of the best promos ever in the business.

I look forward to seeing what they continued to do with Punk and watching this really makes me want to see a program with Austin and Punk. They could knock it out the park with a long build up of promos that ended with a match that would cement Punk as one of the greatest of all time and give Austin his one final moment in the sun.

How do you get part 7? is there a link to this dailymotion place someone mentioned? I'm missing the best part of the story without part 7.

There is a link in the notes of part 8 that sends you to DM site.

It is because the shoot promo from the stage in Las Vegas last year is played in it's entirety.
