Don't really care about it but I fear I'm still going to break down at the last minute and buy it. I think Pacman KOs him in the 4th. Marquez is 84 years-old. He's done. Although, Pacquiao might be done, too. I'll stick with Manny for this one. |

Not sure if ill watch it yet since theres a UFC on too. My girl is Mexican so if her family gets it ill watch it and dvr the ufc I think both guys are equals and Marquez was screwed out in a a fight or 2. This will go to a dec and i agree that both are at the end of hall of fame careers. Hope its a good fight |

Saturday Night Special Marquez will win. He will win by either a unanimous decision or knockout. His boxing style has frustrated Pacquiao in all 3 fights but he lacked the power to do any real damage. All of that has changed thanks to PED's. With his power and style Pacquiao won't stand a chance. It's a lock! |

I liked how Roach said if Marquez was clean he'd kiss his ass, then immediately backtracked and said he was joking and is now whining because Marquez's trainer said he might sue. Oh the irony. |

That was a great fight! Pacquiao was in full control and I don't think the fight was going to go much longer with the blood pouring out of Marquez' nose. As soon as Roy Jones explained that Marquez wasn't going to be able to square him up again with that giant right, did Pacquiao get careless with almost no time left in the round and Marquez crushed his face. |

Pacquiao a bitch. Mayweather will never have to defend his titles against anyone worth while again. |

Q.Bovifs wrote: Big Chicagoan wrote: Pacquiao a bitch. Mayweather will never have to defend his titles against anyone worth while again. If you saw what Mayweather did to Marquez, you would know that Pacquiao would have no chance - whether they're both doping or neither of them are. . . . and that's precisely why the fight will happen now. Floyd won't pass up a freshly shellshocked PacMan. Manny looked like he got actually, no, literally, killed, in there. It was pretty scary when they were checking his pulse. It's got to be akin to (or probably worse than) having a massive stroke in terms of neurological damage. No. Mayweather achieved his goal of waiting until Pacquiao declined, lost a little power and a little quickness. It's obvious that Pacquiao's game depends on raw physical traits more than the skills utilized by Mayweather, so time was going to be on Floyd's side. If they made a fight now and Mayweather won, it would prove nothing. That was a fight for two years ago. I guess neither guy needs the money, but it's a fucking shame that the fans didn't get to see that fight. And it's foolish that a match wasn't made in a sport that is desperate for publicity and regularly gets its ass kicked by the Unshod Foot Club. |

I just watched the highlights. Holy christ did Pac-Man get knocked the fuck out. When Marquez knocked him down the first time it looked like Pac-Man was smiling right before Marquez threw that right BOMB. Now I'm really pissed I didn't ask my cousin if he was getting the fight. |

Both of those knockouts were a thing of beauty. Pacquiao should be pissed that he lost at least $50M by not taking the Mayweather fight. |

Q.Bovifs wrote: He wants to protect the 0, but there is no doubt that Floyd would have beaten Manny at any time in their careers. Opinions vary, but now we'll never know. Even though you're a Floyd guy you know that is was your man who didn't want that match and proposed terms he knew would be unacceptable to Pacquiao's camp. |

I think about 3-4 yrs ago Pac would have bodied Floyd. One thing was proven during the Cotto/Mayweather fight and its that If Floyd has a weakness its aggressive fighters who can turn fights into ugly brawls. Pac in his prime might have been the fastest fighter ive ever seen. The way he would slip in with 2-3 punch combos and flawlessly slip out was masterful. Also the unusual angles he came in witht would have given Floyd fits |

The Pacquiao of a few years ago would have buried Mayweather with his work rate. |

Floyd didn't want the fight to happen but Arum didn't either. Blaming one side and not the other has never made much sense to me. I also think the idea that Pacquiao wouldn't make mistakes that Mayweather could take advantage of is rubbish too; Manny has ALWAYS made mistakes, and his work rate has always depended in large part on his opponent not landing well-timed counters and not using lateral movement. Finally I have no doubt that Mayweather has probably been on stuff as well but I'll be damned if I'm going to believe it on the basis of rumors coming from Montoya and Hauser. |

Q.Bovifs wrote: Look at the PPV numbers. UFC wishes it could touch Boxing's numbers. I don't know about that. I'll take your word for it. But there are MMA fights televised at bars every week. It has to be a giant boxing match for the bar to put it on. At once of the recent fights the place I was at had about 3/4 of the TVs on the MMA event and the rest on the boxing match. |
