Obviously the idea of Diamond Dallas Page starting a successful yoga program sounds funny. However, he seems to be doing some awesome things. Jake Roberts is healthier. If he can turn Scott Hall around..........

It's almost impossible not to like DDP which just pisses me off more and more that they fed him to the Undertaker for no good reason. It was good angle until they actually started wrestling each other.

He could be the next big fitness guru.

That's seriously impressive what he's done with Jake.

DDP was always a favorite of mine, great wrestler, good on the mic, just a shame that WCW fucked him and WWE fucked him harder.

Good on him for doing this stuff.

But holy shit does Scott Hall sound bad.

Macho Man and Jericho are right there too though.

The Diamond Cutter is just the best finisher ever. He could do it at any time from any position in the ring. Just a fucking great move. He should have been one of the legends, he had all the skills.

He was a guy. He had some good moments and has a nice story, but that is about it. He is not even close to "great" in any area of the business. Considering him great is an insult to the really great guys in Wrestling history

There wasnt anything he couldnt do. Including turning around the lives of Jake the Snake and Razor Ramon. Could anyone else in the biz do that?

DDP was OK. I had a buddy in HS who was a big DDP fan & I used to make fun of him for being a hillbilly.

BTW, wasn't it DDP who originally went by the nickname, The People's Champion?

Kevin Nash Rants on Scott Hall Moving In with Diamond Dallas Page and Using DDPYOGA
By Marc Middleton
Feb 15, 2013 - 8:22:57 AM

- Kevin Nash tweeted the following about his friend Scott Hall and the news that he will be moving in with Diamond Dallas Page and Jake Roberts to get back into shape:

"Scott told everyone 2 months ago he was going to DDP'S going to be there that weekend.Show me the tape when he walks in the door."

"This is my friends life, not a PSA.You want the truth it's not for you to know."

Nash also posted some tweets that have since been deleted:

"I love everyone telling me about what Scott needs, been dealing with this for 20years.Scott will get healthy when Scott wants 2 period. This has nothing to do with me.This is on Scott and him alone. He knows he's loved.I've been there since day one.Nothing I can do.Only Scott"

"Does anyone realize Scott will die if not taken to a hospital and clinically detoxed? You f**king idiots……Yoga great.20 years of abuse?"

--R-Truth noted on Twitter that he is using Diamond Dallas Page's DDPYOGA to help return to action. WWE Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett also started using the program recently

Nash likes to shoot his mouth off a lot, but he makes some valid points. As someone who has almost died trying to detox myself off of booze, Xanax, and Vicodin, Hall needs medical detoxification. If he quits cold turkey, he will suffer from DT's, seizures, and possibly heart failure. I don't agree with Nash saying that DDP is doing this for self serving reasons. Anybody that watches that and doesn't see genuine love and concern is delusional. Nash has become quite the bitter bastard the last few years. He cannot come to terms with the fact he was never a draw as a champion. After reading Ring Of Hell, I've had a hard time liking anything Nash says or does. Then the fucker comes back and sucks the heat off of C.M Punk, ruining the best angle in years.

Actually, I do DDP Yoga. Or did. Twice. Two 20 - minute sessions kicked my ass and I have since retired from DDP Yoga. I've heard Tyson Kidd and a bunch of current WWE guys do it too. Lots of non-rasslers too (Rob Zombie, etc.)

Kevin Nash needs to lose his twitter machine

I think the way DDP tells it, after Vince bought dubya c dubya, DDP wanted to work for Vince so bad, he had his mega contract from WCW torn up and signed a new one with Vince for pennies on the dollar. Pretty sure the stalker angle was all DDP too.

I'm developing a man crush on DDP. I hope we don't find out he did PED's or coached at Penn St. Awesome response.

"Kevin is one of my best friends for over 20 years," Page admitted. "I didn't get it at all, it really, really hurt me.

"No one has helped Scott more than Kevin. Kevin is very protective of Scott over the last 20 years, but protected from with me... that blew my f-cking mind and really hurt."

Page noted that Hall is scheduled to arrive at his house this Monday, and admitted that the project was not even his idea.

"I never went into this saying I could cure Scott. I'm just one of the boys" Page said. "Sean [Waltman] contacted me and asked to help him. All I'm trying to do is make a place for my buddy because I have it to give and it's worked so well with Jake. To be perfectly honest, I wouldn't even attempt this without Jake. It Kev was single, he would have done it years ago.

"Scott took the Diamond Cutter [on Monday Nitro in New Orleans, when Page turned down an invitation from the nWo] from me! And Kevin took a backdrop over the top rope and it sky-rocketed my career. This was when nobody would do anything like that for me. And they did it because I asked them and we had been best friends for years. They helped me because of our relationship and they knew it was my time, and I never forget the people that helped me. We've all looked out for each other for years.

"So I'm here for Scott. Since Kev got offend by the video, I took it down and I'll play it for Scott when he gets here and I'm sure we'll put it back up. The out pouring of positivity that came from video was f-cking amazing... It's the same thing we did with Jake, and all of it made Jake the strongest Jake Roberts I've ever known."

I completely and totally disagree with that.

As Peeps pointed out, Page was hurt by getting a late start in the business. And I know that people like to bring up Page's friendship with Bischoff, but he had to earn his spot. He worked his way up through shitty gimmicks and bad angles for 6 years. And when he finally got the ball in 1997, he ran with it and proved he deserved it. The only thing Bischoff gave him was an opportunity. Other than that, Page was self-made from the finisher to the gimmick to the catchphrases, to the wardrobe. And he got himself over like rover.

And in 1997 and 98 when most of the main event roster (including Sting) couldn't be bothered to take a bump anymore, Page was in there mixing it up with guys like Benoit, Jericho, Guerrero, Raven, Saturn, Booker T, etc. working his ass off to keep up with them. Hell, DDP pretty much rejuvenated Randy Savage's career and got an extra year of usefulness out of him. I have nothing but respect for DDP.

Absolutely correct.

Page was self-made and got himself over.

Perhaps more intelligent wrestling minds could enlighten me as to how in the hell the WCW let themselves fall to pieces. Just seeing all the names and remembering all of the great matches makes me long for the days when wrestling had a little life and substance instead of 15 guys that all look the same and all wear the same speedo trunks.
