In no particular order 1. Hot Rod 2. Flair 3. Stone Cold 4. The Rock 5. Macho man- His coked out segments with Mean Gene were off the charts awesome. I don't remember him doing the live promos as much as these other guys but his taped stuff amused me to no end. |

I was not a huge fan of his until his feud with Malenko. Then I had to see everything he did.My brother used to tell me I could not be on the bandwagon because he was a ericho fan from day 1. On your worst list Phil, you left out Glacier |

Jake is definitely someone that should be in consideration. Macho Man is another good one. What about Ultimate Warrior? |

As far as worst, no list is complete without Steve Blackman. |

Now if I watched a Warrior promo I would PTFB,but back when I was a kid,man did he get to me. Michael Hayes is another underrated guy. Always got his point across in a nice outlandish style. |

Well obviously Warrior would not be in consideration for the best promos of all time. But he clearly had some memorable ones that no one understood |

Bob I agre with you but AJ and Sting have gotten a lot better. Sting was terrible until I hate to say it ,Wolfpac. Then he got better simply because the people around him started forcing him to do so or look totally like he did not belong. Same with AJ but just not to the same extant. I still do not understand the lack of support of AA. I can still picture in my mind the old horsemen promos with Flair leading off then him handing the stick to Arn and both of them would just kill. |

I love AA too. I was tough keeping him off the list. He's pretty much #11 for me. I agree AJ has gotten better, but AJ is limited just like Jeff due to southern accent. It seems like you'd definitely need to be a heel to have that accent these days. Sting has been doing this for 25+ years and is a 15 time world champion. he should be one of the best, not one of the worst just with time served. I put Angle on my list because he has the full range (funny, serious, intense). When AJ was doing comedy promos with tomko, angle, christian (christian's coalition i think), that was probably his best stuff. |
