It's about that time to let everyone know that I'm doing the Wrestlemania party again this year. We had a few of the boys from the board show up at last years and I think everyone had a fun time. Party is probably going to kick off around 3:30 or so to get some beers flowing before the show. The only thing I ask is that you bring a comfortable chair and your own beer. I'll have water and snacks and coolers for the drinks. Depending on the weather I might grill or we could just all toss in money for some pizza from or something like that.

Pretty much everyone is invited.

No Dusty speak please.

It is a straight shot down I-80. 135 miles, a little over 2 hours.

27 days away. Plenty of time to back out.

Food will be provided. I'll bring some fried chicken, homemade coleslaw, and a pan of cheesy potatoes.

Speaking of Vinny Mac, I've been watching the WWE Best No Holds Barred matches on Netflix recently, and there's like 4 Vince matches on this set. Absolutely brutal. There's a couple involving Shane, including his match against Test, which I would actually include, but the McMahon stuff in that set is really overdone.

Also, why the fuck does the WWE blur out WWF in the old footage before the re-branding? Did the lawsuit make them change things from the past? That seems kind of ridiculous if that is the case. It really makes no sense. Also, anytime the announcer says WWF, it is also muted. That is some bullshit...

Yeah, if you're talking about the scratch logo from the attitude era: Image then yes, they can't legally show that. In 1998, they began using that one without the World Wildlife Fund's permission, so they have to blur it on all their attitude era footage (they can still show the old 80s WWF logo however). They also can't say "WWF" per the lawsuit, which is why it's muted on old commentary.

Yeah, that was a hell of a bump, Shane took.

It takes a special kind of sociopath to be a multi millionaire, with a monster business raking in cash and then decide to have your son take a bump like that in a match over your daughters fake marriage

That Shane/Test match is kinda bittersweet for me. It was a great brawl, but I was a huge Test fan at the time, and he was pretty fucking over after beating Shane. He was poised for big push that winter but Triple H cock-blocked him behind the scenes. Test's career never really recovered. Now he's dead.

Feel the same. I was torn over this match as I am a mark for both guys.

Ive said before and Ill say it again.

If you are a Big, well built man with long blonde hair and you fail in the WWE, you have no one to blame but yourself.

Test did not fail. He got fucked over because Steph decided she liked someone else. Then I do not care who you are ,if the boss wants to fuck you over you got no chance. The bad thing is Test could not get released and go some place else.
