Please Let This Happen.

Quote:
WWE wrestler 'Kane' could primary Tennessee Republican in 2014 Senate race

A moderate Republican from Tennessee could soon be challenged by his party in a primary before the upcoming 2014 election. The problem with his potential challenger, he's a seven foot pro wrestler and former WWE champion.

Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn) is known as a RINO (Republican In Name Only) or what others might simply call a moderate. He supported Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor as well as TARP and the bank bailouts. Regarded as a traitor to the libertarian wing of Republican party and many Tea Party groups, Alexander is expected to face a challenge before his re-election bid in 2014. What has made noise is that the challenge could be coming from the former WWE champion, Kane.

Working under the ring name of "Kane," Glenn Jacobs has been a professional wrestler for over 20 years, finding his niche as "Kane," the story-line brother of wrestling legend, the Undertaker. Since debuting the character in October of 1997, Jacobs has gone through several incarnations with of character and remains popular on the WWE's flagship cable show, "WWE Monday Night Raw." According to the Daily Caller, Tea Party groups in Tennessee are pushing for Jacobs to put down his mask and turn in his tights for a chance to make it to Washington. Jacobs doesn't believe he will run, but hasn't ruled it out.

“Of course I know what’s going to happen is the media at first would treat this like a joke...There would be a lot of interest in it, but it wouldn't be taken seriously in that respect, but that’s okay — because I think as it would move along they would find out that I do understand, and I do care, very, very, very deeply. But are those enough to be able to win? Because, frankly, if I’m going to do it, that would be my goal...So you know, there would just have to be a lot of things put in to place, and certainly my family would have to be comfortable with it."

The Daily Caller notes that Jacobs became an avid libertarian after taking an interest in economics in 2004. Jacobs cites Henry Hazlitt's "Economics in One Lesson" as a major influence and praises Austrian economics for taking into account real life situations and human decision-making, as opposed to Keynesianism, which Jacobs believes only uses numbers and statistics.

“The problem with Keynesianism is that we are not, human beings, are not numbers. We’re not atoms that bounce around without free will. Human beings have individual choice, we have free will, and we make decisions, and that’s what Austrian economics takes into account.”

In a state that has become more conservative since the election of President Obama in 2008, the 72-year-old Alexander could be fighting for his political future. Jacobs has gone on the record, calling Alexander's performance in Washington "abysmal" and understands the frustration of the Tea Party that want him to be voted out.

While Jacobs is still a major star for the WWE, he is 42 years old and has many miles of bump and grind on his body. WWE owner Vince McMahon is a strong Republican, whose wife Linda ran unsuccessfully for congress in 2010 and 2012. For a state like Tennessee that is becoming even more conservative and has a grand history of love for professional wrestling, "Sen. Glenn Jacobs" might not be something that is far-fetched.

Right, Senator Isaac Yankem DDS. No way he's elected after what he did to Katie Vick.

I already made the joke on facebook, but if he loses he could just run again as Yankem.

And then at his inauguration JR can ask "Is that the Undertaker's music?!?!" and (zombie) Paul Bearer can hit him with the urn.

Obama comes out and saves him, rips off his suit jacket and exposes a shirt that says 'I heart Reagan'.

Swerve.

So I told them I was going to light Biden on fire. No really, I said I was going to light Biden on fire. He took it pretty well. He was still smiling when the flames got to his knees. It's all good. I told them I've been having some problems at home and my dad just died. It's a whole story, but yes. Thank you for your kind words. So anywho, they told me to sit out a couple votes and I'm good to go.

Hell no I'm not going to start questioning what Obama knew about the IRS scandal. That's a group I don't need looking at me closer. Know what I mean? Perhaps if you had claimed X-Pac as a dependent in 1999, you'd feel the same. Well, we all have stories.

When I think of Senator Kane, this is how I think of it. Him in Kane gear, the rest of the world in street clothes. And of course he's the smartest guy in the room.

Kane talks taxation. Pretty awesome

Kane talks Libertarianism, Keynesian vs. Austrian economics, the Federal Reserve, running for office, Glenn Beck, Ron Paul, the state of the economy and more.

How was golfing with Harry Reid? HOW WAS GOLFING WITH HARRY REID?!? I thought we were having a nice time. Good discussions, trying to break down some barriers. What happens before hole four? He says he has questions about my background. QUESTIONS ABOUT MY BACKGROUND?!? I told him I've seen the movie Casino, and I wouldn't be tossing stones. Yes I really said that. I was grinning like it was a joke. Anywho, he brought up burying my brother alive, and the weddings, and if I smoked with Rob Van Dam. Really invasive stuff. What could I do? I'm new. I let him win and shit in his golf bag Orton style. I know it's immature, but I already set Biden on fire. I don't need to develop a reputation.
