Been watching the 96 timeline history of WCW with Kevin Sullivan. Never have really known what to make of this guy. What is your guys opinion of him? What is his place in wrestling history? |

He seems like a booking genius, but isn't really a people person. His mind is fascinating. |

What is his place in wrestling history? The little I know of him, he was a decent wrestler but terrible when dealing with others backstage if I recall correctly |

I liked the devil-worship gimmick. The first time I saw him was on a Spanish station that had "Lucha Libre". |

Always have loved his accent/voice and could listen to him talk all day. He had some good matches along the way. But his real mark seems to have been more as a booker. But it always seems mysterious as to who was really the one to be credited or blamed during his time. Bischoff....Hall/Nash/Hogan. |

All kidding aside, I didn't get it. I think I would have been a huge fan in the Florida days. Legit gimmick. I was just getting into wrestling at unhealthy levels when he was leading the Varsity Club. Why is a satan follower leading a group of varsity athletes? It made zero sense. He had a decent run with no gimmicks, just himself. The Dungeon of Doom was so bad. However, his explanation leads me to his booking. If he really knew the Dungeon sucked, but was appeasing Hogan, not bad. He's a brilliant wrestling mind, but he doesn't have a job. He had a base, but it wasn't my thing. |

I used to check out one of those Wrestling Heroes & Villians type books from the Bookmobile all the time and it had satan-era sullivan on the cover and also had evil Jake Roberts in there and a super bloody Abdullah the Butcher. Then I eventually saw Varsity Club Sullivan and didn't get it. He always says he took everything he learned from Eddie Graham (i assume he means Mike) and King Curtis. |
