I wonder if she'll beat up on Roddy like she does Ric.

Why would you want another wife once you get rid of one?

The Celebrity Wife Swap episode with Ric Flair and Roddy Piper will air on ABC on 6/30 at 8 p.m. In the episode, Wendy Barlow, Flair’s girlfriend, goes to Piper’s home in Hillsboro, OR, and Kitty Toombs, Piper’s wife of more than 30 years (who he met in the Carolinas and Flair was in their wedding party) goes to Charlotte. They feature Wendy’s children as opposed to Ric’s. Not sure if it was planned that way, or edited that way after the death of Reid Fliehr.

Spoilers below:

From someone who knows about the show, which is all about exaggerated personalities (Mick Foley noted to me that the idea of his was the super strict clean family vs. his fun loving but sloppy family storyline caused them to leave out some cool stuff, and how the sloppy part was overblown also to fit a storyline), it’s about Piper being smart with his money and Flair blowing his money. The first thing he does is take Kitty Toombs, Roddy’s wife, who stays with him for the duration of the show, to the jewelry store. They go out on the town every night, spending money until finally she confronts him about not saving his money and he comes back with “It’s my money and I’ll blow it if I want to.” Ric is just how he is and he won’t change. He’s the product of two upper middle class parents who were children of the depression and never changed, constantly worrying about money. While Ric loved his parents dearly, he saw that always worrying about money and being afraid to spend even if they had it as being stressful and no fun, so he spends and lives like there’s no tomorrow, often more than he has.

I saw the Rowdy one on an episode of Storage Wars a few weeks ago. Barry Weiss brought him a bagpiper's outfit to appraise. My guess is that the appraisal was done by someone else -- that show is picking up kayfabe where WWE left it years ago.

I didn't know Ric Flair's second ex-wife is the woman in the smoking commercials with a hole in her throat.

 I think that was his first ex.

The show was pretty good. I'm just shocked nobody took a chair shot.

Watched it and thought it was great. Roddy REALLY is a Scotsman. For some reason, the Scottish are known to hold onto a buck. Living up on a desolate hill having your wife milk the chickens and feed the cows.....SHEESH!!!! Ric Flair was much more fun, just like when the two of them wrestled. If I saw him in a bar,I'd buy him a drink. It would be a small "thank you" for all the years of entertainment he brought me.

No, that's Reid's mom with horrific plastic surgery.
