I loved Bob Luce Wrestling growing up. I watched it every week even though they hardly ever showed star vs. star. It was usually star vs. bum but it still held my interest. I really miss guys like: Dick the Bruiser,Crusher,Baron Von Rashke,Verne Gagne,Moose Cholak,Sailor Art Thomas,Pepper Gomez,Ray Stevens,Nick Bockwinkle,Billy Robinson,Bobby Heenan and my two personal favorites: Wilbur Snyder and Dr. X (known as the Destroyer in other parts). That's just off the top of my head. Does anybody know of websites to purchase DVD's,pictures,old wrestling mags? |

Back in 1982 or so,my brother-in-law got tickets to see some minor league pro wrestling at the Odeum hosted by Bob Luce. It was a thrill seeing him in person. He loved his job. |

Here's a toast to the great Bobo Brazile and his patented "CoCoa Butts"! Tho there was nothing better than the lead in to the "kissing cousins" Dick the Bruiser & the Crusher!  And lets all stop at One Stop Foods on 43rd & Lake Park...or drive down Western Ave reminiscing about Ben's Auto Sales
