Triple H announced on Raw tonight that the WWE TLC PPV, which takes place in 3 weeks, will be headlined by a WWE and World title match.

The WWE World Title and WWE Title will be hung above the ring and John Cena and Randy Orton will go one-on-one in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match.

While exact details have yet to be confirmed, numerous reports are circulating online that WWE Hall of Famer Mae Young, who is 90 years old, was recently hospitalized. There has also been speculation that she has been transferred to hospice, which would mean she is gravely ill.

Young had previously been booked to appear at Raw Old School next week, but it appears as if that will not happen.

On behalf of the entire WZ staff, I would like to wish Mae Young the very best if these reports are indeed true.

Michael Bluth of SEScoops.com is reporting that WWE Hall of Famer Jerry "The King" Lawler has been hospitalized after suffering from chest pains and vomiting earlier today in Baltimore, the site of tonight's Raw.

There is no word on his current condition, but a source backstage noted it became clear very quickly that Lawler needed medical attention after the chest pains and vomiting began.

Lawler suffered a heart attack on September 10th, 2012 during a live Raw broadcast in Montreal, and underwent angioplasty the following day.

We will continue to bring you the latest details on this developing news story as they become available.

Update: Memphisport.com has posted an update on this story noting Lawler had blood work done at the hospital and is now "doing fine."

I guess Mae Young is still alive, but not sounding good though

As we reported earlier today, Mike Mooneyham of The Charleston Post and Courier received some bad information and inaccurately reported that WWE Hall of Famer Mae Young had died.

F4WOnline.com is reporting tonight that Young is indeed still alive, but she is off life support and is in very weak condition. As of noon today, Mae's condition has not changed from late last night.

A close friend of Mae's from Oklahoma reportedly called her earlier today, and although she was too weak to speak, she listened as the friend told her that thousands of people are pulling for her. Mae was able to respond by saying "I know

The following are quotations from Sportsrants.com and Anthony DiMoro with the news that Sting is signed by WWE.

"I have heard it from a good source that Sting and WWE have actually agreed to a deal, including a WWE Hall of Fame induction. The Hall of Fame induction may not come in 2014, but possibly 2015 as WWE may want to feature Sting and get the fanbase familiar with him on WWE Television over the next year so that his induction is even more special. I anticipate a career DVD will also be in the mix later this year as well as a heavy presence of Sting on WWE Network."

"The deal itself, I am told, could go two possible ways. Sting competes in a few high profile matches concluding with Sting/Taker at Mania 30 and retires. There is also a thought that Sting may not do any matches with WWE, simply sign a “Legends” deal and get the Hall of Fame induction along with the career DVD."

TMZ reported earlier today that former WWE star Matt Hardy and his wife Reby Sky were arrested on January 1 for assault and battery after fighting each other in their Virginia hotel room.

TMZ has updated the story noting Sky is standing by her husband and is not "dumping" him following the fight. The following is an excerpt from the TMZ report:

Now, sources tell us … the whole fight started when Reby asked a seemingly intoxicated Matt if he had been drinking or using other substances that night.

FYI — Matt has had substance abuse issues in the past … and once completed a WWE-sponsored rehab program.

We're told Matt didn't take kindly to Reby's accusation and the situation escalated into a full blown fight

That is exciting news. But considering how things have went with these 2 parties in the past I will hold back my excitement until I actually see Sting in the E.
