Flip side to the other thread. Probably will involve your favorite team, but I guess it doesn't have to.

Just got reminded of this when 312player put favre over Peyton and listed playoff success as a reason. Favre threw six INTs against the Rams in a playoff game. Lost 42 to I think 17. Defense played well game against one of the best offenses in history. Favre just repeatedly killed us with the most god awful decisions and throws. It was stomach turning to watch. I think it was 2002. After that game I never quite viewed Favre in Marino/Elway/Montana territory and still don't. Still one of my favorite athletes ever though.

Bears/Colts Super Bowl.

I thought they had no chance going into the game, then I thought they could win after the Hester return.

Then, with about 2 minutes to go in the game, I got the worst food poisoning I ever have had. I blame Rex for that too.

4th and 26

Kaepernick running all over the Packers defense in SF a few years ago in the playoffs.

51-45 OT loss to the Cardinals in 2009 season.

LSU pounding Illinois's ass in the Sugar Bowl.

The bullshit fumble game between Michigan and Illinois in 2000.

When the Bears beat the Chargers last Monday and catapulted themselves into delusional mediocrity and a bad draft pick.

4th and 26 is definitely second on my list.

Google tells me it was 45-17, actually. 3 of those 6 INTs were for TDs. Fuck Favre.

How are you not going to mention last year's NFC Championship game?

49ers Bears 1991 December 23rd. Brutal MNF -- their last of the year, and I remember Al and John running the credits about 5 minutes into the 4th quarter. I can't remember if we would have won the division if we won that game (both Lions and Bears made the playoffs) but definitely remember that's not the kind of momentum you want to take into the playoffs.

The Bears playoff game against the Panthers when Steve Smith went off.

1986, 1987, and 1988 playoff losses to Redskins and 49ers

The 2007 NFC championship game was the last time I probably really cared more about a football game than I should. That'd be third on my list. Last year's game sucked and would be up there bu it's been hard to fully buy in to this team ever since the 15-1 team got stomped by the Giants in 2011.
