Alvin Kamara is the clear cut OPOY IMO.

I think we can go ahead and remove Mack from MVP talk. Still probably DPOY leader.

Not even first is DPOY anymore.

Mahomes is MVP leader still but Gurley has to be extremely close. I think those two are pretty well ahead of any third place candidate.

I have no idea who DPOY leader is now.

Mack should be MVP based on the fact that the defense is dominant when he's healthy and bad when he's hurt. Not sure I've seen such a discrepancy before.

It's impressive how quickly and aggressively excuses started being made for Mack when he was unproductive.

Huh? Come on... a guy doesn't go from dominating the league to getting his ass kicked overnight. His ankle is clearly not right, and they shouldn't have played him yesterday.

First week second half it's "he's not in game shape". Last two weeks it's "he's hurt". Seems to me he's just not as consistently dominant as MANY thought after the first three games of the season. The unsustainable production he had after three games fooled people.\

Still a great player. Clearly not MVP type special though.

I have completely lost my ability to do this week by week and will pick it up later. Too many things change.

MVP should come down to Mahomes or Brees. Rivers will be a distant third and I think Donald eliminated himself from the conversation yesterday.

Aaron Donald should still have a pretty firm hold on DPOY with nobody really being a close second.

DROY will be interesting since this is a ridiculously stacked class but I would think it's still gonna be Darious Leonard.

OROY will be Barkley without question.

Coach of the Year will be Andy Reid or Matt Nagy.

I agree with most of this. I think it's Nagy's award to lose. We expect Reid to have a great regular season.

Chiefs O/U before the season for wins was 8.5. I think people have quickly forgotten how much unknown there was to KC before the year, nobody had any idea how good or bad Mahomes was.

Reid win pretty much every year. The Bears hadn't won in damn near a decade and Nagy is the first Bears coach with a winning record in his first season in about 60 years.

Nagy's team just beat the best team in the league by keeping them out of the end zone, and throwing a TD pass to an offensive lineman. He has to be the front runner at this point.

Reid is the front runner and deservedly so. He has the best record in the league with a team that was projected to miss the playoffs before the season started, is doing it with a first year starter at QB, and his influence around the league, including on Nagy's Bears, is unparalleled currently. Add in the fact that Fangio is arguably just as responsible for the Bears success as Nagy is and I think Reid is the guy if the Chiefs finish 14-2.

The Chiefs won 10 games last year. The Bears won 5.

Chiefs had a different QB last year. They were projected to win 8.5 this year, Bears were projected to win 6.5, and the Chiefs are 2 games better than the Bears currently, so performance vs expectation is a wash.

Anybody that knows football knew Mahomes was an upgrade over Smith.

So Andy Reid doesn't know football? Or just didn't want to win last year?

He had to groom the kid to get rid of his bad habits. Nagy did an outstanding job working with him.

Sure. Just pointing out the idiocy of 312's statement.

He had to move out the shitbag Smith and throw the ball in Mahomes hands..worked out great.

Brees is almost certainly going to win the MVP this year now. Still not sure he deserves it really but I’m glad he got it as a cherry on top of a first ballot HOF career.

From what I’ve read Aaron Donald is a lock to win DPOY and has the stats for it but if I had a vote Mack would be the easy choice for me. I don’t like the idea of a DPOY on an unimpressive overall defense.

I still have no clue who’s gonna win DROY. Leonard, Ward, Vander Esch, James, and I think one or two others have a great case for it.

OROY is between Baker and Barkley. I’d go with Baker but you can make a great case for both.

If the Bears beat the Vikings Nagy is COY, good chance he wins it even if they lose.

A win next week would give him the 2nd most wins for a first year coach in NFL history. It's even more impressive considering how awful the Bears were.

I feel like Vander Esch is most likely to win DROY. He's played well in national games and the general bias from the media in favor of Cowboys players will probably push him over the top.
