I like Mattison as much or more than the next guy, but this isn't a game of chicken I want to play. Hopefully the two sides can meet, but paying David Johnson $13M a year is asinine and unfortunately Dalvin Cook is looking at that.

Seems Minnesota has all the leverage here. Dalvin will ask for CMC money and then they can say something like "OK but you've only played 40% of your career games, CMC has played 100% of his, here's 40% of what his contract is"
