Rough start for Hackett/Wilson era in Denver. Hackett goes for the 4% kick instead of trusting Wilson to convert the 4th and 5 that has a 65% chance. Hackett also forgot how many time outs he had which is why he was calling them at end and complaining because clock was still running. They said Wilson was on board but now its revealed he had no idea they were going to kick. When Wilson walked off Hackett offered hand and Wilson ignored him. Press conference next day was a disaster as Hackett admitted it was a mistake but then said that's what you always say when kick is missed so he would do it again. Then he made joke about losing track of number of time outs.

Meanwhile Wilson has to sit and take it while he's being clowned by his former coach and teammates who hate him.

I think this goes on the Mt. Rushmore of bad NFL coaching decisions.
