that's my thought. You'll never know how good Carter really is because in Philly he'll look good with that D. But why couldn't you get more? I don't understand.

Philly did not need to trade for him. The Bears were never going to draft him.

Carter's a HoFer in Philadelphia, and would instantly bust out of Chicago, it's just how things work

Roseman bent Poles over to get one of the best talents in the draft for a bag of balls.

They could have traded down to 20 and still got this guy. Awful.

I saw him as the 2nd best tackle in this draft and his peers think he's the best.

I’m good with it. I wanted a tackle, Paris was my guy but I do think I Wright has potential.. gotta protect Fields.

Grab a Center in the 2nd at fix this O-line in one offseason.

bet Poles called Philly, not the other way around. Can't you at least act like you're taking Carter?

I don't know if they can get to the promised land with this QB so I don't know why I'm so upset. But I am.

Eagles added a rapist to their coaching staff last week and added a murderer to their roster this one.

And that’s why a good GM would make them think they would draft him..

This is disappointing. You had a chance to get an elite talent in Carter... a 24 4th?

I saw him as the 2nd best tackle in this draft and his peers think he's the best.

In 2021, when Wright played left tackle, he gave up three sacks and 16 pressures. For what it’s worth, Wright also ranked 74th out of 200 tackles in PFF’s run-blocking grade in 2022. Wright is ranked as the third-best offensive tackle in this year’s draft class by PFF and the 20th-best prospect overall.

So obviously Poles agreed with those who think Skoronski is a guard, not a tackle. The guys I'm listening to on ESPN radio are saying that Wright was the second best RT in the draft.

What I'm more surprised about is that somebody didn't offer a better deal to go to 9 and get Levis.

Everything I heard about him was he was a beast at right tackle but he was definitely a right tackle and not a left tackle. That said, I still cringe at the pick but I know I would have cringed at any pick they made.

Was pumped when J.Carter fell to 9 and then..... WTF! a 2024 4th rounder? I thought they had traded back into the 2nd round. Hope this Wright guy is a Pro Bowl player or else this is a horrible pick.

Poles should’ve been fired when he sobbed in his intro press conference.

No one knows how any of these guys are going to play, but it seems like the Bears went conservative after their guy, Paris Johnson, was picked in front of them.

Don't deduce this just because he picked wright. Given Poles lack of intelligence tonight It's possible Poles didn't realize Skoronski was still available.

When you start with the number one overall, and have the chance to take the best DT, you shouldn’t be settling for the second best tackle.
