The D seems like they always start poorly, then make a few plays and allow the offense to take over the game and inevitably give up a ton of yards protecting the lead. Kenny Clark being out really hurts their run D as they have no depth there. Same if Kirksey misses more time.

That would work if it ends up being relatively isolated outbreaks that only last a week. The issue will be if you end up with teams that miss multiple games/weeks similar to the Marlins and Cardinals in MLB. NFL can't play 3 quarter long double-headers to cram the games in.

Doubt the Chiefs Pats game happens Tuesday. NFL will try and buy time by rearranging byes and later season matchups with common opponents. I think an eventual week 18 this year is not out of the question.
