I thought we were having this debate in a vacuum, separate from real world stuff. Real world is a different matter. Just saying I don't think Winston is the best QB ever - there are others I'd take over him. (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky isnt one of them.

In a vacuum I feel like I'd bet on being able to fix Winston before (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky, but I have no faith in either of them being fixable. Bridgewater is the best free agent QB that will actually be attainable IMO, but I imagine the Bears will ignore him. Hell with Pace still in charge, I wouldn't be shocked if they don't look to improve the position at all outside of some late round project with the warped logic that they don't want to put too much pressure on Mitch.

KDdidit's logic is correct for the purposes of the poll, and would still probably hold if the two players' stats/resumes were switched as well.

That’s a strange assumption. I assumed the opposite - that we were talking about realistic options for the Bears to improve.

Agreed though that if they just magically got Russell Wilson they’d be a lot better
