I guess you can hate Herbert enough to maybe think Love is the third best, but better than Tua? No way. Bum hip and all Tua's a legit 1.1 type player.

You're not wrong, but the guy you've drafted to replace him is a total zero who wouldn't be drafted in the top hundred picks if it weren't for Mahomes making gunslingers cool again. Did the Packers even get to interview him? Because he sure seems like he's kinda got nothing going on when you hear him talk.

Lotta teams with sneaky needs at quarterback passed on him. Your big red flag had to be when Bill Belichick traded back.

And they traded up in front of teams that were never going to draft him.

How do you know this? Are you aware no other team would trade up? Or you drizzling shit onto your keyboard as usual?

Teams close to contention typically dont blow picks like that. Anyone else who really wanted Jordan Love could've had him. He clearly wasn't a very hot commodity.

Hey dont worry though, in two years it will "only" cost the Packers seventeen million against the cap to get out from under Rodgers' contract. This pick was stupid, had the Packers not traded up from the first round there was a weak argument to made that they drafted Love as a first round pick so they could lock in the fifth year option...but had they drafted him at 1.29 they would've had that anyways.

Even from a money perspective it doesn't make a ton of sense. That's $12.5m contract for a guy who is blocked by the player with the biggest overall contract in the sport (at least until Mahomes extends). Literally gave up a first round pick and a non-negligible amount of cap for a developmental project that could've been had twenty or so picks later.

With a QB you use a 1st rounder. You need that 5th year option. They're not getting him with their 2nd rounder. They needed a QB. Rodgers is old, injury prone and his accuracy has gone to shit. Time to groom the future and begin cutting out the cancer.

All for a 4th to hop 4 picks...cheap.

Denver won a Super Bowl with broken down Peyton Manning. The Patriots have won how many Super Bowls with Brady past age thiry-six?

The Chiefs, stocked the brim with offensive weapons for Patrick Mahomes to chose from, decided to give him one more just for shits with 1.32.

Meanwhile Aaron Rodgers gets...Devin Funchess...

You are wasting your breath arguing with an idiot. He was on here laughing at the Bears for trading up to get Mitch, but when the Packers do something stupid he just puts fan boy spin on it. Just ignore the idiot

Until today the last time the Packers drafted a skill position player in the first round was 2005 when they drafted Aaron Rodgers. That's honestly criminal.

The Chiefs havent had a first round pick since they drafted Mahomes. And the first thing they did when they did have one was pick Edwards-Helaire because he's basically a perfect weapon to compliment Mahomes in the backfield.

How many years will Rodgers still play for the Packers? Every year he does takes away a year of Love on his rookie deal.

This was a trash pick and every Packers fan should be furious but Love is pretty unquestionably a better prospect than Herbert. Herbert sucks flat out

The Packers traded up to draft a QB in the 1st round and didnt need one. This pick deserves mocking. It doesnt deserve any other type of reaction really

Take solace in the fact that you have dealt with this like...twice? For Bears fans, it's almost every April.

Packers have fucked up a lot of drafts my friend. I'm not foreign to this feeling
