And I’ll 100% agree with the awkward/borderline creepy critique of the recruiting process of top high school athletes, but I just like being able to say I watched X player when he was in high school all the way into his pro career.

To me it’s cool to see if a football/basketball player can live up to their potential.

Actually it's 11-13 year olds, but the distinction between that and the LeBron/Manning lovefest is that in the former that at least try to make it seem quaint and normal, in the latter it sounds like lust.

It’s a “Big Lebowski” reference. I’ve never been a fan of nationally televising kids in general but if this Manning kid is already being scouted and stuff, it’s just part of our sick culture to exploit it.
