Maybe, but that's a tough division. IF he forces his way out, I would think he wants to go home...Niners. This is not purely about winning IMO, so no chance it's Cleveland.

I would definitely think the Niners are up there too. Niners and Broncos are the two most likely places IMO, maybe the Steelers as a third, but just doesnt seem like a move that the Steelers would make

It has to be Pittsburgh or Denver. I doubt it would be a NFC team. I also doubt that the 49ers would trade 3 first round picks for Lance and then trade for Rodgers.

If the 49ers win next week or win the Super Bowl, can they really move on from Jimmy G? It will be like Flacco and the Ravens, right?

even if the niner's win the super bowl, their first order of business should be to move on from jimmy g.

They don't really have a choice. They can probably get a 1st round pick for him if they win it all. No worse than a 3rd if they don't.

I heard the question asked earlier: Does Aaron Rodgers have a single big-time playoff game since his sole Super Bowl?

As a Steelers fan, I'm terrified of the idea of Mason Rudolph being the starter next season. That said, with the roster, especially the OL in the shape it is, they need draft picks to fills the holes. The cost for Rodgers would be all the draft picks.

As a free agent, I'd be all for a couple year contract. But as a trade, it's going to cripple a team that isn't "ready" to win. Haven't looked up cap space, but Colts? Titans?

If I'm the Packers....there is no scenario where I trade Rodgers to the 49ers or any NFC team. It's an AFC team or you have to retire.

Brady retires, Rodgers to Tampa. He'll even get to wear the #12.

After watching the Tannehill experience they might be just good enough to disappoint with Rodgers. Cap and assets to trade? I have no idea.

(honestly though, putting him next to Henry would be interesting..)

Was curious about the cap after mentioning the Colts or Titians. Colts have space, Titans don't. A lot of games can be played with that though.

But it also requires the player to work with them team on contract structure. I don't see Rodgers being that accommodating.

The whole hosting jeopardy and the drama prior to this last season leads me to believe that Aaron Rodgers has an inflated perception of his National fame. Post NFL career, I don't think the world is gonna love Aaron Rodgers as much as he thinks they will.

I think he's seeing politics as a sweet spot. I think he's misreading his audience.

To me, the only team packer fans would accept rodgers going is san fran. And he has to have dreams about playing one snap for them. Could you see a jg for rodgers trade, prob with a wr thrown in?

He is going to stay put. He is going to have to learn to live without Adams though. If he had learned that already he would probably still be playing. The haven't lost when Adams misses a game. Those 2 are so good together that rodgers ends up taking what he wants instead of what the defense is giving him.

They're going to have to sacrifice a lot to get under the cap and to retain Rodgers and Adams. He'll be playing on a far inferior team than the one he played with this year.

Waiving the Smith brothers and Cobb or an equivalent gets them even with the cap. Then extensions and void years provide room. Those moves don’t really change the core of the team.

Quote:
Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers blasted President Joe Biden and his “fake White House” in an anti-vaccine rant that also seemed to question the 2020 election result.

“When the president of the United States says, ‘This is a pandemic of the unvaccinated,’ it’s because him and his constituents, which — I don’t know how there are any if you watch any of his attempts at public speaking — but I guess he got 81 million votes,” the NFL star told ESPN before his season ended in a playoff loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday.

“But when you say stuff like that, and then you have the CDC, which — how do you even trust them — but then they come out and talk about 75% of the COVID deaths have at least four comorbidities,” he continued. “And you still have this fake White House set saying that this is the pandemic of the unvaccinated. That’s not helping the conversation.”
