Lions are closer to winning a Superbowl than the Bears are. It's not even close. 3 years ago that was unimaginable, now it's reality. Sad.

To be fair 29 teams are closer to a superbowl than the Bears are.

True. The sad thing is even if we get the number one and number two pick it's going to set us back at least another 2 years because every quarterback sucks their rookie year. And this is the best case scenario, what if poles sucks and drafts a bunch of bums.

I guess we should just put flags on qb’s until they run across the line of scrimmage.

“Roughing” to slap the qb’s arm…

Such a horseshit call, but he eventually threw a pic so ball don’t lie.

Why run from pistol or shotgun or whatever when you’re 2” from the goal line?

That 2nd quarter play may cost the Giants the game.

I'm back into football, mainly because that sport doesn't seem to have the non-sensical problems that the NBA and MLB have. My big takeaway is.....Quarterbacking is HARD!

Why?

The mental is just as important as the physical. MANY are talented enough to get by on the physical until they reach the NFL. That's difficult to overcome.

It seems there's no maneuvering within the pocket anymore. You just got to get the fuck out of there or you're dead meat.

Putting together a great o-line seems to be as hard as finding a great QB. Even teams with good records have o-line issues every week. "Bigger, faster, stronger" seems to be helping d-line play more than o-line.

Eagles have an elite oline. They even drafted a bust in Dillard, but hit gold with UDFA Mailata

It took them over a decade to get here. It doesn't generally happen overnight.
