I think I am on record around here somewhere as saying when I was watching some games last year that Nix was the QB that impressed me the most of that rookie class. He has definitely come on as the season has progressed. I think he has the potential to be the best QB of that class when it is all done. Which means he will probably fall off a cliff now and be a bust.

Hot take: I think Denver is peaking.

They’re not getting past Mahomes and they’re going to have to deal with the Chargers when Harbaugh has them fully Harbaugh’d. If they were a stock, I’d short.

Nix lead them down the field down 2 against the Chiefs back in November. 35 yard chip shot for Lutz was blocked and the game ended. I agree with you though. I'm buying Ravens stock.

Let’s settle the ambiguity by introducing Bo Nix’s 10-7 record inheriting a team that nobody was expecting to be competitive this year.

I think it's usually pretty good when not paired with 70 sacks

i'd like to see the saints sign aaron glenn as their next head coach. he did a good job while he was with the team as a DB coach.

I suspect Aaron Glenn will be a better head coach than Ben Johnson, as long as he's not hired by the Bears.

Schefter suggested during halftime that the Cowboys are looking at Deion Sanders to replace McCarthy.

I never thought much of Aaron Glenn and the Jets hiring him confirms that I'm correct.

Lions staff is being gutted.

Both coordinators done. OL coach potentially coming to the Bears. Dline coach going to NE.

I think that is a good hire for the Raiders. I am curious to see what he is able to do there.

That conference has quite the list of coaches now

Harbaugh
Reid
Payton
Carroll

Ben Johnson has definitely won me over a bit here but at the end of the day the best coach of this hiring cycle was definitively Pete Carroll. Number two isn’t even particularly close. Sure the age is a factor that hurts his attractiveness (and for good reason) but he is pretty much a sure thing. He’ll turn around that Raiders thing quick, even if the division is a gauntlet.

Raiders don't keep coaches more than 4 years anyways.

So McCarthy probably ends up in New Orleans?

I thought this was the best spot for him all along. It will be a relief to be out of the unrelenting spotlight of Green Bay and Dallas. Huge runway to rebuild, he’ll have all the time & resources he needs to get something cooking down there. That division is also a bit of a joke. I’m a Baker guy now, but if he’s all that stands between you and eleven wins well that’s about as easy a road as there is in the NFL.

The Raiders haven't had a coach last more than 4 years since the mid 90s. At least the Bears seem to let their coaches get to 5 years.

Jauron: 5
Lovie: 9
Trestman: 2

Nagy: 4

Brown: <1

The Bears have kept things churning since Lovie. I don't think it's exactly to their credit that they let Wannstedt miss the playoffs four years in a row, though.
