this defense looks real bad, and it gets no easier next week against green bay. giants d is just decimated and they will be lucky to finish this season .500.

Looks like the 2nd half Giants choke is in full effect. This team blows after the first half of the season. I'm will to bet the Saints will wet the bed next week, usually do after a ass kicking.

not at home. they put up 70 points in the last back to back home wins (bears/texans). they'll shit the bed when they go to the titans, i reckon.

they will down the stretch. it sets the tempo of the game, chews clock, and grinds down defenses. in the elements, it's essential to have an established running game.

There is nothing I hate worse than watching a game and having absolutely no hope and/or realistic expectations that my favorite team's defense will stop the opposing offense.

This season is getting so bad that it is turning into fun. The bizarro Giants.

i would disagree with that. perry fewell, on the other hand, i think i have seen enough of what he is bringing to the table. heres what i want - coughlin and spagnoulo back as d-coordinator. i also think it is time to let eli do what he does best - hurry up offense. not all the time, but occasionally mixing it in there. this brandon jacobs trying to bounce to the outside bullshit is getting me down. he is the slowest looking back i have ever seen and he keeps trying to bounce everything outside.

most of all, this team needs all of its DB's and linebackers back. that defense last night was awful. mark herzlich is a great story beating cancer and all that, but that guy looks lost out there.

Um, Im not a giants fan, but the terms "hurry up offense" and "tom coughlin" should nnever be used in the same sentence... You gotta choose one...

It's 2 dog teams but it's entertaining so far. I've got the Chargers and the over. Gambling makes all games entertaining.

Think the Bears' Caleb Hanie is bad? Guess what? The Jaguars' Blaine Gabbert is absolutely, positively lost since the now fired Jack Del Rio named him the starting QB, I think way back in Week 3 or 4 after Luke McCown got picked off 4 times vs. the Jets.

I remember hearing reports that some gms would've taken gabbert over cam last april... Foolish then. Moronic now.

Even Ron Jaworski isn't actually excited about Tyler Palko.

It wasn't much of a game last night. Sam Bradford started that game, and probably shouldn't have played being in a lot of pain. Tarvaris Jackson appeared to have a lot of time to throw for Seattle and fans actually threw Skittles in the endzone after Marshawn Lynch scored on a 16 yard TD run to cap off a 115 yard, 23 carry performance in the Seahawks' 30-13 laugher over the Rams at what's now called CenturyLink Field. I'm not making this up...

The 49ers style of play is conducive to winning in shitty January weather while he Saints is not. The Saints can probably beat the 49ers with ease in the dome though. This is why I would prefer the 49ers lose tonight and take the 3rd seed.
