There is little worse on this planet than Thursday Night Football. The only time the NFL should be playing on Thursday is on Thanksgiving.

I agree with this 100%, if they want to give the NFL Network games, why not give them a doubleheader on Saturday late in the season, like when College is done on Saturday.

The saturday games in december are perfection

There are few feelings greater than flipping on the TV on a saturday to find NFL football and then a second later thinking "I dont have to work tomorrow"

They used to have 2 weeks of Saturday regular season NFL games right after the college football regular season ended. The league had 4 total games over back-to-back Saturdays on FOX & CBS until recently. I also know for a fact NFL Network have ended their package with what they now call "Thursday Night Football Special Edition" instead of "Saturday Night Football" in prime time.

Last year's finale of NFLN's package wasn't much of a game, as the Cowboys manhandled the Buccaneers in Tampa.

This will probably be the Browns' Brandon Weeden next Thursday night when Cleveland faces Ray Lewis and the Ravens in Baltimore. Is Weeden 2012speak for Blaine Gabbert? Who knows?
