Good question. I'm not even sure what Ed's up to these days.

I hate to scoop the SHARK but

. On July 30, 2012, McCaffrey was named the new color analyst for 850 KOA, flagship station of the Denver Broncos Radio Network, replacing Brian Griese.

That's fine. Brian Griese is currently one of many analysts on ESPN/ABC's coverage of college football. That includes his famous father Bob.

Not even sure why we'd want him considering we already have future hall of famer DuJuan LaTroy Harris.

For the moment, CB Darrelle Revis is still with the New York Jets. There's speculation he could be Tampa-bound...if the Buccaneers are willing to trade their #1 pick next year, according to what Dan Patrick said this morning.

SHARK,

So, they got rid Harvin because he didn't respect Ponder and now they most likely will replace Ponder.

I'll take Joe Webb as a backup for the Bears.

Woah. Surely you don't think Cassell is better than Ponder? That is crazy.

Joe Webb for back up what? Not QB.

Cassell didn't choose the Vikings to sit when the Cardinals are having open tryouts for every available QB in the league. I don't think they assured him a starting position but they had to tell him the job would be open for competition.

I have watched quite about of Cassell over the last few years and I am telling you he is not as good as Ponder. They may have told him he could compete for starting job, but I highly doubt it ever gets it. And that is not to say Ponder is that good, but he is better than Cassell.

I didn't think Ponder was all that bad last year, look at what he has for receivers also, just bad.

I believe Tebow was told the same thing. GM's tend to lie. I highly doubt Ponder gets benched, unless it's after about 10-12 games into the season and he's Sanchez-level bad.

QB Kevin Kolb...Released by the Cardinals today; Jets interested? The Jets just signed journeyman QB David Garrard, cut before last season by the Dolphins. LB Nick Roach...Goodbye Bears, hello Raiders! RB Danny Woodhead is San Diego-bound on a 2 year deal.

The Seahawks have traded Matt Flynn to the Raiders and sounds like the Raiders will trade Carson Palmer to the Cardinals.

Kevin Kolb also headed to Buffalo on a 2 year deal. The likely starter there?

It looks like the deal will be done once he passes a physical with the bucs.

I can't wait to see how the Jets screw up the additional draft pick or will they take their original pick, package it with the new one and trade it KC, draft Geno Smith....and continue to have god awful play from the qb position?? Can't wait.

Surely they found a way to dump Tebow off to Tampa in this deal.

A 1 and a conditional 3 isn't great for a Hall of Fame-caliber player in his prime, but $16mm is absolutely ridiculous for a corner, especially if you're not winning anything with him anyway. I think the Jets probably did as well as they could have, all things considered, but the only real winner in this whole thing is Revis.

No guaranteed money in the deal.

That seemed very weird when I heard that. Unless Revis doesn't care if he spends one year there and gets cut just to get the hell out of NY?

It's still $16 million.

Not to mention they just traded a first-round pick for him. What are they going to do, cut him?

The real amazing thing is no one knows if he can even play anymore. Guy tore his ACL. If he is anything like D. Rose, he will either not play or suck ass all year.

Bucs are nuts.

Yeah. If he legitimately wasn't willing to take less than $16mm per, then I don't blame the Jets for trading him, even if the value isn't great.
